fair play to utd..the luck has been on your side but you have played the better footy and any team that finishes ahead of this chelsea 'never say die' outfit has to be a great side...no doubt the two games coming up will be good matches, but next season Chelsea will be a hell of a lot stronger so utd will have to improve to keep the trophy
  2. he allowed a flick on from a long punt from lehmann to go over his head when he sould have cleared...baptista muscled him off the ball and was through on goal and boulha just brought him down in the area...last man, penalty, had to go...now he has to go!
  3. alan hansen has written a good assessment of the title race: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 625445.stm
  4. munich, can you have a word with german-blue?!
  5. predictable...it's raining (!!) in manchester on all those losers celebrating the title
  6. some people, it seems the foreign posters, just don't seem to watch the same game as we do...don't give up, keep watching, you may get it right!! here are my ratings: Cech 7 made a few saves, but was a spectator for most of the match Ferreiria 7 getting more like his old self and crocked an arse player...well done son! Terry 8 real leader...still not at his best, but getting there Boulha -3 last game for chelsea me thinks Bridge 8 best lb at chelsea...how many times do I have to say it? better defender this season and better going forward Mikel 8 good showing before subbed Lamps 7 played better than he has recently Essien 9 motm...my player of the year Cole 8 some flicks didn't come off, but you can see what we've missed most of the season...never stopped trying SWP 7 some good some bad moments, but that cross was class Kalou 8 could have won it for us, but never stopped running and led the line great...his body just needs to get a bit stronger and he will be top draw subs Diarra 7 very good sinclair 6 not enough time to make a big impact
  7. arse fan talking about money? bollox...there's a club that has lived on free transfers throughout its history
  8. made another mockery of PFA team of the year, PFA player of the year vote and football writers vote...the man is a legend and remember he got a nasty injury after 20 mins...just want to add as well, wenger hasn't beaten jose yet!
  9. when I got so gutted about newcastle display I got lambasted, but that's cos I knew that was our chance to really close the gap...we've had a lot if's and but's this season, but it was utd's year...we just have to prove to them on wednesday and in the cup final that it was a one-off
  10. blown what? that was an awesome display with 10 men...sure we may not be champions but we played like champions...we'll be back, don't be so quick to get depressed...be proud, chelsea showed what they are all about today...imagine how you'd feel if you're an arsenal fan...no silverware, didn't come close and outplayed by 10 men at home
  11. hope you're feeling ashamed of your disgraceful post after that performance
  12. what are you talking about...chelsea dominated possession and territory...ok not much end product, but arse fans were silenced pretty quickly...one cock up by boulha and we're behind...get over it
  13. I have had a feeling since the fixture was rearranged that this is precisely what would happen, although i'm sure they won't have the ceremony there, it will be at old t on sunday...but we will be expected to form guard of honour like they did for us two years ago
  14. anyone still wondering why boulha wasn't picked against the scousers? that's his last game for chelsea...jose looked like he wasn't surprised...shocking mistake...shame cos we've been playing much better football although without the end product...why does it take drogba being out the side to pass it from the back?
  15. quality...those blokes in the car...retards
  16. it is far from rafas job to keep other teams up, even with the changes weve picked up potentially damaging injuries, so i'm glad that not too many of them were risked. Oh, and Dorset, where've you gone? I know its bank holiday weekend, but yo ucould easily have responded on friday afternoon, or do you agree with what i said abiut you talking sh*t?[/quote thought you would say something like that...still think you have made a mockery of the fixture...why bother turning up. why bother playing charlton next week if the next game you're going to take seriously is the champs league...just makes a mockery of scousers getting upset about jose's comments...truth hurts
  17. nice to see pool making 9 changes for today's game at fulham...i'm sure all the teams around fulham are delighted rafa is holding the premiership with such contempt
  18. so glad Just has backed up what I've been saying since tuesday night regarding the atmosphere at anfield...what a myth, what a joke...the real contrast was 24 hours later when ac milan roared their side to victory in true style
  19. utd have had their name on the trophy for most of the season, so many things have gone their way, so many things have gone against us...they could have only got one point out of the last two games, but thanks to the muppets who were their opponents they got away with it...everton 2-0 up and gifted two of the worst goals in history and then vassell hits a shi*e pen today...oh well, hopefully it will turn round next year...people may say we had fortune in our first two seasons, we did at times, but I think we were far superior anyway and were so far ahead we never had to rely on luck going our way...utd have had it all this season
  20. don't get any sense of tongue in cheek here...actually talks about us with respect and says parry was out of order http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.j ... nwin05.xml
  21. pool will never win the league as long as rafa (the non-special one) continues with his defensive mentality...it can work in cup games, where you nick a goal as you usually do and defend and rely on penalty shoot-outs, away goals etc, but over 38 games you need more than that...not for one minute saying jose is the most attacking coach in the game, but i've never seen rafa make the substitutions jose does to win a game in the prem...just a shame jose doesn't do the same thing against Liverpool in cup games
  22. does that make you England? Dire football, with players who should play better, losing on penalties in a semi? Just asking! we didn't need penalties to win two premierships...that's why you haven't come close in 17 years...doesn't take a genius to work out benitez will play it against milan
  23. Liverpool are the Germany of club football...dire football needing penalty shoot-outs to win games
  24. as i said i want to move on now...we lost, arsenal next
