My fear is becoming real. chelsea will probably lose the last few games plus the fa cup.

The way we played at Emirates in the 1st half is a disgrace. Mourinho is too predictable.

No Drogs... no goal. It is as simple as that.

I am picking Arsenal to score another in the 2nd half. Bye Bye.

Bullocks... this will be my last posting of the season.

I'm not too upset. This way, we can focus on just one game, the FA Cup Final, as opposed to a one shot out of 20 if we had happened to defeat Arsenal today.

I want to see Sahar and Sinclair and Cuducini in the game in the 2nd half, and I don't care how much we lose by, just that no one gets hurt.

what are you talking about...chelsea dominated possession and territory...ok not much end product, but arse fans were silenced pretty quickly...one cock up by boulha and we're behind...get over it

I agree Brit, I've been pissed off with the way we've been playing of late, but that wasn't so bad. Not great either, but not worthy of complaining about.

It is true that we were the better side in the 1st half however unfortunatley I never actually felt we would score a goal, even with 11 players.

That's what happens when you play a winger as a lone center forward. icon_sad.gif

Well said, Brit! There were 10 gallant lads on the pitch in the second half and we even won accolades from Andy bloody Gray! Whatever mistakes have been made in the weeks prior to this game, we went out on a high today. I for one am not ashamed of my boys.

And that's the second most important thing about the sh*te you've been posting. i.e. that we won't be seeing any more of it. Go on tosser. F*ck off out of it and don't come back. And no, I won't be apologising for this one.

He'll be back when we win the title again. Having said that I think he's just posted under his new name MUFC 2007 icon_lol.gif

He does not know what he missed by not watching that 2nd half. It was magnificent, and made me (and everyone else) proud to be a Chelsea fan. I have no regrets about this season now.

I think the rest of the season will be very interesting if Jose will give some of the youngsters a chance and ofcourse we've still got a cup final to look forward to. Ofcourse it's a disappointment not to win the Premiership and it's frustrating to go so far in the UCL and not be able to go into the final, but two cups in a season wouldn't be bad, even if media thinks we're a failure if we don't win everything. Especially with all the injuries we've had. The lads definitely shouldn't need any motivation for the FA Cup final now.

COME ON CHELSEA!

'View' does sound like someone who doesn't really have Chelsea in his heart. It's ok to get angry at a performance (God knows I have this season!) but to give up hope completely just because the team isn't winning is idiotic - I've also done this this season when breaking my '24hrs before I comment' rule! My eldest son gets very worked up when we don't win - mainly because he's grown accustomed to winning - but yesterday was a great lesson for him and others with the same mentality. You don't necessarily have to win games/titles to come out of a situation with credit. The club has been winning titles for a few years now on a regular basis so it's understandable if new fans cannot feel love for the team when they 'fail'. Us wizzened old fogeys have seen days when outsinging the home fans was always going to be the only victory on the cards. Clubs like Manyoo and Liverfool will never have that loyalty borne of desperate times, when the hat was passed around to keep the club going, when winning a game was so rare it felt like Christmas had come early!

We forgive View for his folly - he'll be back - but he won't be the last to get upset when we don't win. Comes with the territory, I'm afraid. Vialli said we need to learn to lose because to be a big club we'll be at the pointy end of many tournaments and some will end in failure purely by the law of averages. The defeats teach you to savour the victories, the victories to acknowledge the defeats as the path to where you are now.
