crap game, but thought i'd do it anyway: Cudicini 6 nothing to do due to dull utd Ferreiria 6 as above Terry 7 good to see him carrying ball forward like he used to. Essien 7.1 imperious Bridge 6 perhaps should have got forward more against defensive utd maka 6 stroll in park Diarra 6 likewise Mikel 6 looked good before being subbed at ht...loved his dirty foul, dirty manc deserved it Sinclair 6 tried hard and surprisingly faced two defenders constantly which is a sign of utd's fear of him...was growing in game and then brown did the dirty SWP 8 playing with much more confidence and looked most likely to create or score Kalou 4.5 poor tonight...he has these kind of games every now and then and it reminds you he still has a lot to learn...lost ball time and time again subs: Joe cole 7 lots of good runs, just wish he'd got forward a bit more Sahar 6 almost got first chelsea goal morais too late for rating

poll is a f**king arseho*e
jose was basically implying that poll was sh*t against chelsea again without actually saying it (to avoid fa charge)
-
poll is a f**king arseho*e
jose chose his games very carefully at the end...'typical performance from him in a chelsea game'. just to confirm jose wasn't sent off...miscommunication apparently

money can't buy success
what a yawn...all these tosspot pundits, journos and fans from rival clubs are suddenly choosing this cliche to take a dig at our season...'it just proves money can't buy success' they say and yet all we've heard over the last two years is 'you only won the league cos you had all the money'....so which is it tossers...make your mind up! fact is while we have obviously benefitted from money, sunday's display was all about character, team spirit and skill...money doesn't buy that, it's great management and players with a good attitude...

A New Striker - Who Do You Want?
he may play for the scum, but someone at chelsea should be ready to hit rottenham with a ?20-30m bid for berbatov...the guy has had a superb first season and put ballack's and sheva's efforts to shame...just look at his goal tonight, he would add real quality alongside drogba and hopefully improve our passing game

Analysing the season of Mr. Frank Lampard
he's scored 21 gls, got 20 assists or something like that, but the key stat of the season has been making a club record 60 apps...he was playing just as well as always until a few months ago when he hit the wall...tiredness played a big factor although I'd also say his experiences with England have affected his confidence...for some reason the nation holds him personally responsible for our world cup failure and even mcclaren swallowed the myth by dropping him against andorra...i think that hurt him a lot...the last two months may have been his worst spell in a chelsea shirt, but we are judging him by the very high standards he has set...if we compared him to ballack, then there would be no need for a poll

Le Arse vs Chelsea
not all members of the press are out to get us...olly holt of the mirror has consistently gone against the grain and written sensible pieces about us this season...I think he was the only one who had a go at Reading's stephen *unt for the challenge that put cech out for three months...here's another example to prove there are some journos worth reading: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... _page.html

Le Arse vs Chelsea
i read it to backbiter and it just wreaked of bitterness...I notice in so many of the reports i've read so far that the journos ignored jose's congrats to fergie and all and just included the quote where he said they won the title cos have more points than us, therefore still portraying him as the sore graceless loser...our display deserved praise not more abuse, but then the press have been waiting to have a go at jose since he arrived and said he was the special one...whatever...jose will silence them again soon enough
-
DOWN LIKE CHAMPIONS ...
you were right star...now come back for good...too many jcl's on here...it's supporters like us who will be needed next season to get our trophy back
-
Who Do You Hate Most?
spurs and leeds are constant, but cos they're so sh*te I laugh at them at the moment...so i've voted for the liverscum...their fans are scum of the earth and don't know how to spell history let alone know what it means
-
The Arsenal fans today...
did anyone just see motd 2 and the london branch of the utd supporters club...they were just as embarassing as the arse...what tossers
-
Good Luck
lofty, you should know by now that as jamie carragher said: "We have more class and dignity at our club."
-
I Love Jose
make that two Just!!!!!!!! Jose has been accused of lacking class by the media, rival clubs and their fans, but that bit at the end was all class and it was jose laying a marker down for the cup final and next season if you ask me...he'd just lost his first title for five years, but he's coming out fighting and telling us to do the same...I thought it was all the more defiant as the sad bitter arse fans heckled the players and jose
-
The Arsenal fans today...
it made me laugh today when on the few occasions we did hit long balls they did a loud chant of 'hoof', yet not only were we playing them off the park but they were hitting most of the long balls and only scored because of a long punt
-
why did we lose the title?
no faulting today's effort, but it's time to start the inquest of where it went wrong...looking back for me it was last summer and what we did in the transfer market...we made the squad smaller, we bought in players in sheva and ballack who either struggled with english football or just came for the cash...we lost a player in gallas (forgetting the reasons why) and replaced him with a left back who was no better than the one we had in the first place...we got in boulahrouz, who hasn't been a footballer since we beat barcelona in october...the only successes were mikel and kalou and they only began to make an impact in second half of the season and still have a lot to learn...I hope the club goes back to the transfer policy that worked in the past, younger hungrier players than the likes of sheva/ballack, still of decent quality who are desperate to win...
-
Le Arse vs Chelsea
summed it up perfectly jack
-
The Arsenal fans today...
they were tragic all round...the way they celebrated at the final whistle cos they'd officially cost us the league how sad, no wonder their team hasn't come close to winning anything all season...outplayed by 10 men on their own ground
-
Le Arse vs Chelsea
I agree Joel...even in first half when we weren't exactly putting Lehmann to work, we outpassed and outplayed arsenal and it was cos drogba wasn't there...now don't get me wrong...drogba has to play but the players should be told not to be lazy and hit the long ball when he is playing...we have proved on many occasions that we are a good footballing side when we want to be and we certainly are a better team when we get the ball down and pass it
