Looks pretty unanimous today! Drogba for me, with Ashley second. Good to see Frank more on the ball today too.

Happy with that. Drogba was great in the first half, not just the goal but some good passing and not trying to score everything himself. Ashley impressed me today too. If we can keep this up and end the season with a good run-in I'll be happy, then let Carlo stay and prepare for next year.

Our finishing is crap but I think what's really worrying is getting good balls into the box. United were much better than us at this in the week but surely against Wigan we should have been putting lots of good balls in. Too many were misfired of slammed into defenders. Got to sort that out.

I went for Ashley but I had a really bad view of this one as it was on the small tv at the bar I was at (bloody United on the big screen). But still saw a stat at one point that we had 21 shots on goal, should have been more than 1-0

Totally agree. Though in this case the ref himself really should have been able to see it, he had a pretty damn good view.

I thought Carlo should go a while ago but now I've more sympathy for the give it time. He needs to be given more freedom and a chance to strengthen the squad his way for next year. I don't think the players are against him now and, before Stoke, we were looking totally rejuvenated

I'm not a Torres hater but come on, that's exactly the problem. He should be finishing these. The hitting the post was particularly poor. And Drogba forced a good save early on too. Only reason to keep playing Torres, and this isn't necessarily a bad one, is for him to play himself into form. Just hope he can do that by next Tuesday!

So frustrating. Before the penalty it deserved a 1-1 draw but I could actually have choked down the loss because we only had ourselves to blame for missing some sitters. But that penalty was so bloody obvious and the c*nt referee was right there. Not sure Bosingwa was as bad as people are saying, he did some good work at the beginning. Agree though that it was ridiculous to take Drogba off. He was the one looking threatening.

Rubbish. It was disappointing for sure and they had chances to get the winner but I think we could equally say there were plenty of times we could have won it.

Went for Drogba in the end, think he deserves credit for today, really good goal and some good work elsewhere. Happy with a vote for Cech too.

Don't think it's fair to call Lampard woeful today, he did some good stuff. Overall it just lacked something we've had in the last few games. More worrying that it all seemed to turn to sh*t when Torres came on. I'm not saying it was his fault, just doesn't look good. Still love Luiz though, despite the screw up

Yeh it's gotta be sideshow bob. Luiz was amazing, and it's nice not to just have a choice between JT and Cech for a change, they all stepped up.

that was brilliant! 1am here but well worth it! For all of us who've been complaining that the boys haven't showed enough passion or desire I think we have to admit they showed it today. And just superb to beat Man U. Luiz was great, he's a tough one but I like it. But well done to them all, hopefully this is the turn around. We're better than competing with Spurs for 4th place...
