Balotelli could be our Cantona
There could well be some shrinking violets in the squad and one or two that shouldn't be allowed to ever pull on a Chelsea shirt again but calling them a pathetic bunch is going to far in my book. Hang your head in shame!

Balotelli could be our Cantona
Well maybe if you could drop Drogba into that Man City side he would have done better than Balotelli's 17. You and others think he's good, I think he's average at best. Maybe only time will tell which one of us is right.

Balotelli could be our Cantona
One could argue that with the array of talent around him within the Man City team that a return of 17 from 32 is pretty average.

Balotelli could be our Cantona
Well it's not like he's been ripping up any trees is it. Just another overhyped, overpaid footballer with a piss poor attitude.

"[Frank Lampard] isn't quite good enough" (1996)
Watching that vid clip and knowing what we know now, you can't help but smile.

Balotelli could be our Cantona
They can keep the little twat, overrated, overpaid and over here. The guy is a walking car crash who thinks he's one of the worlds best, or at least that's the air he gives off. Quite frankly he's slighty better than average imo and that's being kind to him. No manager in his right mind would sign him up so I guess he'll be a Chelsea player real soon!

You won’t find many here echoing your sentiment.

MOTM vs Everton
If you’ve clicked on anyone other than Lampard then I’ll have to presume you’re either mad or you have parkinson's disease

The players seem to really like Benitez.
Way too generous Tommy.

Think I’ve found what I was on about whitewall. The game was played on 2nd January 1984, we lost 2-1 Tony McAndrew scoring for us. I keep forgetting that the internet has all the answers if you look hard enough! I must have been on the sauce from New Years Eve until we got to the ground

Chelsea FC - How did it start for you?
Being born at the arse end of the 50’s, my Mother died 3 weeks after my birth due to complications of her labour. That left my Father with the responsibility of bringing up my 2 sisters, my one brother and me. Knowing he’d not be able to cope he handed me over to the state where I was taken into care but never adopted so my childhood was brief to say the least. The one thing I did know at the time was that I loved football and to this day I don’t know what drew me to Chelsea but something did. Come Saturdays if we were playing at the Bridge I’d run away from the care home and make my way to the ground sneaking onto public transport and dodging ticket inspectors, I started doing this when I was 7yrs old. I’d eventually get back to the care home where I’d be roundly beaten with a strap or anything else that came to hand. My ‘carers’ had the bright idea of locking me in a room once Saturday morning breakfast was done with. To combat this I’d just disappear Friday afternoon ending up breaking into the ground staffs hut of the local park and spending the night there. And in the middle of January it was no f**king picnic I can tell ya!! Eventually they gave up trying to stop me and just let me get on with it. What made me do this, a sense of belonging, the magical feeling of match day, being with my Chelsea ‘family’, who f**king knows I just knew I was happiest when I was their. Most of the time I was able to sneak into the ground usually just after kickoff as most people’s eyes were focused on the pitch. Mind you the older I got the harder it became but even if I didn’t get in I’d stand outside listening to the crowd cheering and signing along with the oo’s and arr’s of the near misses. I always knew when we had scored as the roar from the Shed End would leave you in no doubt. Anyway, that's just a small insight into my devotion of Chelsea Football Club.

Applauding an opponent
Yeah Mike, hence I used the word almost. The line had to be drawn somewhere.

If memory serves I think we played Middlesboro away on New Years day back in the 80’s, can’t remember the exact year and I think it might have even been an 11 o’clock kick off too. Only reason I think it was an early kick off was because after getting hammered in some boozer seeing in the New Year we had to board our coach (in west London) at around 1am. Carried on drinking all the way up north, don’t remember much of the journey, don’t remember getting to the ground, don’t remember the game and don’t remember getting home. Was my one and only trip to Middlesboro if indeed it was Middlesboro!! Have a vague recollection of something an old pal said (who is sadly no longer with us) that went along the lines of... Middlesboro was a sh*thole, everything was broken and Ayresome Park was a dump. Any of you guys remember this game or have I got it all wrong?

Applauding an opponent
Yep, that was something that certainly happened almost every time I was in the Shed especially in the 80’s and every opposition keeper bar none acknowledged our applause.

The Rafa Benitez Thread (merged)
I guess you’re right about hardly anybody here getting carried away with yesterdays result but what should be of concern are the knobheads that appointed our manager that’s inter-rimming.

Leeds v Chelsea (League Cup) 19/12/12 KO 19:45
It sure sounds like pessimistic talk to me and understandable really when you think we now have to take on the might of Swansea City. As you say though, there’s no such thing as a guaranteed win but if we can’t be optimistic of beating Swansea then we might as well pack up and go home.

FFS people, have a bit of confidence in our boys. We've been drawn against Swansea not f**king Real Madrid!

From what I’ve heard there’s a move to combine Facebook and Twitter into one entity. It’s going to be called twitface

Chelsea fans...
I used the word drivel as a direct quote from your stalkers post Tommy to perhaps underline what he thinks is drivel, I and others don't if that makes any sense. In hindsight I should have put it in italics to represent this, no offence meant or implied on my part.

Chelsea fans...
Does that mean there are no posts about bangkok chickboys

Chelsea fans...
I’d have to agree with you Tommy, there does seem to be a small infestation of supposed Chelsea fans popping up here, the majority being easy to spot. The quotes you refer to I had already read previously with a raised eyebrow or two so I know where ya coming from. Just keep posting your drivel mate as I and I’m sure others find it insightful even if it’s not always agreed with.

I’m not sure you can disguise a Liverpool fan. To my mind their big curly hair and huge moustaches are a bit of a giveaway, especially on the ladies.
