John Terry on Social Media?

Featured Replies

Can't see anything good coming of this......... but I am oldskool, I hate any footballers going on twitter and posting crap, just makes me think of Rio Ferdinand and all his stupid little tweets...

This could actually be a good thing, lets face it things can't get much worse for JT but if he posts about his family life and personal things like his little girls etc it shows more than the celebrity side of things the media and press show, look at the likes of how Juan Mata and David Luiz use it, very much to their advantage and its a wonderful insight into their personal lives as chelsea fans !

Cant see why he shouldnt use it, social media isnt exclusive to people who are well liked. Im pretty sure JT is professional enough to not post anything controversial so if being on there upsets people...who cares??

Excellent, I love instagram, on it every day. Luiz, Oscar and Mata are all regular posters.

Its mainly a photo sharing service.... people can make comments but its less of an outlet for saying stupid things.

More like a place to post family photos, social events etc.

If you have a smartphone, download the instagram app and give it a go.

Anyone see his picture of Barack Obama saying 'buzzing Obama won'.

Although I don't think he's a racist (despite what he said), I think hes trying too hard to prove otherwise with that picture.

Instagram is harmless for any professional. Its Twitter that he needs to stay well clear of.

I wouldnt be surprised if most celebs are on twitter but dont give their username out. Thats the beauty of Twitter you dont have to use your name or have a photo of you on it.

The words "beauty" and "twitter" don't sound right in the same sentence!
