If I had to make a Chelsea/Liverpool combined eleven: Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry, Luis Matic, Fabregas Sterling, Coutinho, Hazard Costa/Sturridge undecided, probably Sturridge.

Schurrle-Hazard-Reus would be insanely good.

Whilst poverty and other social ills here are undeniably terrible, I don't think the vast majority of us can imagine the horrific conditions of some places footballers are fortunate to escape from. At least our captain eventually got his hands on the Champions League unlike Slippy G who will never get anywhere near to the Premier League again.

I think individually Kompany is probably better than Cahill, but that Cahill is very very good when played in our system and with Terry to lead the defensive line. Cahill did have the better season last time around though, Kompany nearly cost them the title at Anfield.

Maybe because he's a middle aged comedian...
