Akpom Middlesbrough - 26 goals this season so far

I sound like a Citeh Fan, I am anything but, I have just happened to watched their last 3 games and they are outstanding in every position to me.

Polar opposite to our attacking players, he only touches the ball a few times but each one counts.

In my opinion it is Citeh making them look like that

Think you are all been harsh on Munich and TT ... Citeh have been outstanding.

Not what I remember, but ok, still the same problem under Frank, Thomas, and Graham then ? ...... so is there a better manager out there than these three ? I remember that defensive was the issue, can't be bothered to check back and apologies if I am wrong. JT has said the only this week it is the only managerial role he would take is Chelsea. Never has a player bled blue more than him, so I don't really care what he has done elsewhere. we need passion for the club at the moment

If I remember rightly we were rubbish at the back and Rudiger wasn't getting a game. He would have done well to get JT in as defensive coach. Good to have Frank back involved with the club, I said on another thread, not a lot to play for this season to be honest, maybe a Europa place and a bit further in the CL, more hope than expectation for me. Let's hope he salvages some pride more than anything.

I like the idea of Frank coming in as interim 1. Popular figure round the club 2. nothing to win or lose in the league but at least we’ll give it a go with some attacking football 3. only thing really to play for is Champions League, Frank very experienced playing in CL and will give the club a lift 4. Suggests the board have their eye on a permanent manager who is already managing somewhere to the end of the season.

I am starting to sound like the Koulibaly fan club but I thought he was pretty good today, albeit scousers were not up to much Fofana was good too but ditto However they have a poor midfield and with Kante back we have one of the best . so in that basis I’ll go for Kante but could have gone for Fernandez

Missed the first half due to work commitments... sounds like i didn't miss much apart form Havertz still living off his champions league goal. Line up seems odd to me, haven't had a chance to look back and see what you all thought of it.

Diego Simeone is one not on anyone's radar ? It is thought he would leave Athletico this summer after 12 years I think it is, he has had his ups and downs but generally I thought his teams were very difficult play against.

<only job I would take is Chelsea> I am paraphrasing ......... well worth a watch if you got a spare half an hour, nothing ground breaking in there but great to hear things from the man himself in a relaxed atmosphere

From a league perspective I can’t see the point of sacking him, I would be amazed if we got relegated and I would equally amazed if we got a European place, so we gain nothing this season other than a large pay off. if we get taken apart by Real Madrid then maybe I am not one of those stick with him fans but I am sure the board are taking a lot into consideration in terms of their next move is all I am saying I do have a feeling those who are hoping he will be sacked any minute “surely” might be disappointed Just an opinion, and mine have been known to be wrong at times
