A few brilliant performances such as Enzo and Fofana but Kante made such a difference. He was everywhere.

Fofana and Koulibaly too played well in my humble opinion.

I would have given it to Kante purely based on that outrageous piece of first time control in the first half when he plucked that rocket ball out of the air in the middle of the pitch. The fact that he was absolutely awesome in everything he did, attacking and defending, seals the deal. 

Yes, Enzo played well, as did Fofana. But voting for anyone other than Kante is a gross mis-carriage of justice for which you should be arrested, charged and on trial with Trump.

 

Great to have Kante back and looking sharp, full of energy and playing his normal game with no hangovers (physical or mental) from his injury, and it would be easy to nominate him on that basis, but I thought Fofana was absolute class this evening for the whole 90 minutes, so I've gone with him. Thought Koulibaly was also very good.

Kante by a country mile. Ultimately we didn't win but finally we had a player in the middle of the park who injected impetus, drove us forward and, whilst having a rest, decided to track back and win back possession, as if it was a hobby.

 

 

I am starting to sound like the Koulibaly fan club but I thought he was pretty good today, albeit scousers were not up to much 

Fofana was good too but ditto 

However they have a poor midfield and with Kante back we have one of the best . so in that basis I’ll go for Kante but could have gone for Fernandez

Yeah I don't see how we could pick anyone else. He dominated this game, by far better than anyone else on pitch.

That lads is the yard stick for what a true "generational talent" is.

Great to see Kante back and play well and he would have been my MOTM if he lasted longer.

But Fofana for me. He was the difference in defence after the Villa fiasco. He was brillant and made so many important challenges and but for him, we lose 1-0.
