Hang about, It's not double standards with Gareth Bale. People threw a banana at him because its supposedly banter. The difference of throwing a banana at balotelli is that is has completely different connotations relating to racism. We all know the abuse set aside for bale is harmless and the type of abuse that footballers have to grin and bare but throwing bananas and racist gestures at balotelli is not banter or harmless abuse. Falcao is signing for monaco tomorrow, Lewandowski is likely on his way to Bayern. If we're going to sign a world class striker it would appear Cavani is our best shout but to be honest i think he'll go City or even Madrid seeing as they've missed out on Neymar they will be looking to back their next manager with a big signing. So in terms of signing a world class striker any one else got any other suggestions? Personally this just makes it obvious we cannot afford to let Lukaku go out on loan again. He has scored 17 goals in the league so we will benefit with this next year considering Ba and Torres' rate in the PL is abysmal. Think we will miss out on a marquee signing! Having said that getting Jose in would be a marquee signing

nah i disagree with that, he just has had a barren run in the prem since 2013 and hasn't started enough games in comparison to Ba. Ba's only scored 2 in the prem for us overall! its fair to say Juan, Eden, Frank have scored the majority of goals in that competition.

How many has Ba got for Chelsea since he signed? I agree he's in and out of the team and not able to properly settle but i also feel the style we play requires the most mobile of strikers and we haven't got one. Torres is good when the ball is played in behind which we dont do enough of. Holds it up okay (Ba way better at this) but Torres takes longer than a ship to turn slows everything down... anyone catching my drift here or 'are we crazy?' to quote di canio

Couldn't agree more. I don't understand how because Torres hits the post its considered bad shooting but say if Ba/Hazard goes and misses the same chance they're unlucky. Regardless of form/ price/ whatever i don't agree.

You must be taking the piss? Only you would criticise Torres to this specific detail. Also you're having a laugh about JT's header how he could of placed it or glanced it etc. In that situation any player would just focus on hitting the target you fool. You haven't played the game if you think he would of had time to pick specifics especially as we were in the 90th minute and had been robbed of the win (as it seemed we had at the time) Embarrassing mate!

Rafa and his f**king rotation! Get Terry back in the back four! i don't care if we sack off Dave for his attacking sense and keep Ivan in there at full back just shore it up a bit!
