I would absolutley love it if Lampard goes on to score another 20 goals this season (hes on 19 now), scoring in the FA cup final, the CL final in Rome, and seeing Chelsea lift both trophies.

I'd love that, but for slightly different reasons.

giggs award a joke... probably the least deserving winner in the history of the award. could comfortably name at least 20 players who deserve it more.

And next years sympathy vote goes to...Paul Scholes. The Giggs award goes alongside the knighthood SAF got for cosying up alongside Alistair Campbell pointless.

Choices like this just take away the credibility of the award.

I have a feeling Johnson might be a target for Man Utd in the summer. neville is at the end of his career and Rafael is still too young to be a regular right back for them. I think Fergie will like the fact Johnson can also play further forward which will provide extra cover in the Utd squad.
