Onwards and upwards Blues, onwards and upwards!

2nd spot in the league still very much up for grabs and losing to Barca will not impinge on the pleasure I would get out of beating Arsenal on their own turf.

I would imagine some players may be rested after the games yesterday and the aftermath and we may get to see Mancienne start.

I guess some could say it is a little bit of 'After the Lord Mayor's Show' however this is Asenal we are playing - lets get right up for it.

Nothing would make me happier than a good thrashing of Arsenal. I will be impressed if the players are even up for it, I know I wouldn't be.

I've started to like Bosingwa as a defender when he isn't bombing up the right all game.

Waddayamean some players may be rested, what about me??!! Do you have any idea how exhausted I am after Barca-gate? And now *rs*n*l, it's going to wipe me out.

After the amount of flak that I got from Arsenal fans that were 'plastic' Barcelona fans on Wednesday night I truely hope that we can trash them on Sunday.

Come on the Chels!

I hope that the Chelsea players use the frustration from "the game we shall not mention" and really thrash Arsenal. Really mow them down completely. Drogba and Lamps getting hattricks, Essien scoring a scorcher and Terry getting one on a corner.

One can only hope...

Now, in all fairness, Essien only hits scorchers whenever we have a 1-1 draw at the Bridge.

vs. Arsenal in 2007.

vs. Barca in 2009.

Next time will be in 2011, sadly.

Not sure what sort of lineup I'd like to see, on the one hand I'd love to see an identical lineup to the one we picked on Wednesday - our strongest line up, and give them a chance to go out there, destroy Arsenal and prove a point.

However, in the same respect I'd love to see Mancienne, Stoch, Quaresma, Di Santo given a game... maybe just not against Arsenal eh.

I want to see Stoch for a bit again.

We can show them how to really play young players.

Nope.

We go out, and play them off the park with the best team available. Imagine every Ar*enal player is a relation to Platini and Co. and we absolute set about them.

Sunday is the first step towards going to the FA Cup Final flying high.

+1

Like I said, I want to see those sort of players playing (Mancienne, Stoch, Quaresma, Di Santo) - but we need to play our strongest side against Arsenal, especially after Wednesday, give those guys a chance to make a point.

Ashavin apparently out. Important that we make a point (and take all three) and show our resolve after all of the calumny shown to us in recent days & a chance for 2nd and all that. Never thought I'd see a time when I'd be caught barracking for the hammers - but I will be today in the early game.

By the way, I would expect loads of songs about Barcelona from their fans here, because we all know the class they are. Cannot believe the whole stadium sang "Liverpool" that year we lost on penalties.

It would be totally illogical of them to poke fun about missing out on the champions league final? We were robbed of it, where as they just got bent over and totally done up the chuff by Ronaldo and Rooney!

want to see:

-------------------------------cech--------------------------------

--------bosingwa------alex----------terry-----------a.cole------

------------------------------Mikel--------------------------------

-------------------------Lampard--Essien------------------------

----------Quaresma--------Drogba-----------Malouda---------

One question about today’s game - are we playing under the standard rules or UEFA's new Norwegian revised edition?

Well said. I hope we play them off their sh*tey park. They will know that they were humped in the semi and we were done over by the ref so they can sing their borrowed songs but the only song at the end of the game will be the Blue Flag.

Theyre a one trick pony and a bunch of donkeys - what chance have they got against thoroughbreds.

I hope all the blue teams are successful in the derby games - its working so far. The Gods are on our side the Beggars couldn't get a shot on target against Weir and Dailly yesterday - he he.

BITC

I've got some good news and some bad news for the game.

The good news is that I just beat Arsenal away 4-3 on FIFA 09. Mikel scored in injury time to give us the win.

Bad news is that Jovetic and Aguero don't play for us (yet) and they kinda scored one each.

Hope it's a good omen. :JC_doubleup:

To be fair, Jovetic is probably more likely to score for us in this game than Mikel...

Same could be said of ALL of our outfield players...
