My wife figured this one out. There were two medal presenters, and they alternated presenting them to the players. When it was Mikel's turn, he took a very hard to see handoff from the closer-positioned medal presenter. It is hard to see, but if you play it a few times, you will see Mikel getting the medal. For a person who watches a lot of NFL, deceptive handoffs from a quarterback to a half-back are a normal occurrence, and so my wife was keen on seeing it happen. Mikel just grabbed the medal and did not put it around his neck, so that is probably why you (and me, before my wife corrected me) did not see Mikel get the medal.

Cheers for that explanation Philip, because i was wondering about that too - particularly after seeing Sturridge get given a medal.

I was cursing the Barclays Bank tosser handing out the medals - if my eyes weren't deceiving me it was a bloke called Bob Diamond who got paid £62 Million by Barclays Bank last year.

I've been battling Barclays Bank over some unjustified and excessively usurious charges on my bank account because of their inefficiency - and it is trench warfare with those bar stewards. All those kind of charges have to go somewhere - to the tosser that got paid £62 Million last year - I hate the sight of his face and his expensive big teeth.

What i thought i saw today enraged me even more. If Jon Obi Mikel (Mikel Jon Obi) got his medal, fair enough - i won't blame him for that. I still hate Bob Diamond and his arrogant, smug, expensive teeth though. W**ker.

Has anyone gor the full clip of the above ?? I watched the taped Sky coverage of it last night and must have watched Roman clapping then chanting Chelsea with a clenched fist about 30 times !!!
