Guns & Roses

Featured Replies

I don't know why people would want to pay to see that sad cabaret they call Guns N' Roses these days. And they should know better. Axl has always been a diva and he has walked off the stage for smaller reasons than people throwing stuff at him. If they paid to see a show, why try to prevent that show from happening? I'm assuming the tickets cost a fortune, so I don't understand why anyone would want to pay so much to see the bad and then intentionally piss off the singer who is known for his hissy fits.

Well,, it was in Ireland, Maks!

Are you saying that they're a bit thick over there? :sofa:

Rumour has it that an Irishman once emigrated to Australia, thereby raising the IQ in both countries.

Yes, Maks - horrible stereotype has it that there's a lack of logic in the Emerald Isle. I must say (seriously) I have never seen any proof of that in the Irish I have met.

They left fans waiting almost 2 hours , they came on stage at 10.15 instead of 8.30 , no apology or even a reason given for their late arrival .

So maybe a few fans kinda got slightly pissed off at 85 euro a ticket.

Arrogant asshole!

That guy needs to catch a grip.

Complete moron.

I wish people werent so stupid to still support them today.

Slash was Guns n Roses, not axel twatting rose

Exactly. The band took the piss entirely out of the audience - based on reports I heard today it would appear some members of the crowd were more than happy to provide that piss - some of the bottles throw were reported not to be empty.

I wasn't aware of that. It doesn't surprise me, though, but that does put things into perspective. My guess is Axl just didn't feel like getting on stage earlier than that. He just seems like one of those ungrateful rock stars who think they can treat their fans any way they please and think that they can get away with it. Axl should be grateful that people are still willing to pay to see his band. Especially when you consider that it's not really Guns N' Roses and it's been about 20 years since they released anything worth mentioning.

Always hated GnR, always will. Slash is, in my opinion, an overrated guitarist, but at least he doesn't treat his fans the way Axl does. He was shocking in Reading aswell, he turned up an hour late to perform there, meaning they could only do a 1 hour set rather than the promised 2 hours. Their musical career died 20 years ago, I don't see them getting anywhere ever again.

After years of treating their fans like crap with antics like this I'm amazed anyone would still pay to see them.

Quality band many years ago. Unfortunately Axl's always been a tosser, which is why all the other originals left. A few years ago he sparked a riot during a performance in St Louis when he went berserk at a bloke in the crowd who had a camera.

100% agree, that one bloke made that band!

They are nancy boys, they should have egged it on after the first bottle like Faith no more did years ago. They even had piss in their bottles too.

Ah, Faith no More. That takes me back, I used to love that mental lot. The Real Thing was played many a time before a big night out.

Reminds me of Knebworth '85 when Meat Loaf stormed off after being continuously piss-bottled - w*nker!

I don't know much about G'n'R, but after seeing the second clip where that tw*t dived into the crowd and then flounced off blaming the security, Axl Rose seems to be like a cross between Elton John and Julian Clary. Though I don't believe he's as tough as Julian Clary :)

I bought my ticket a month or so ago to see them at the O2 in October.

Zola - I don't consider myself stupid, apologies that your opinion on a stereotypical fan is wrong.

The band died decades ago.

Its one loser milking it for people who dont see the bigger picture.

;)

A performance is amazing!

You're right, Mikstaw - a performance IS - Dylan's is! This Guns N Roses is a gruesome cheap cover.
