Sahin and Altintop? Surely that means the likes of Kaka or OZILOZILOZILOZILOZIL could be off loaded?

I cant see Ozil being offloaded, he has slotted in nicely and is a great player, the only thing about him it seems he is unable to play the full 90mins. Altintop may just be a squad player, I dont know but really cant see osil getting sold, but they would definatly get a tidy profit from him

Hamburg - where Arnesen is now at - want to take Kakuta, Bruma, and PVA on loan for next season.

May be worth giving them like half season loans (although not all at the same time) - give them some experience of more 'top flight' football ; although think if anything I'd prefer to keep them loaned out in the Premiership with Bruma potentially not even being loaned out and being used as cover (don't really want another CB issue this season..although hopefully with Luiz that won't occur!)

I would prefer for us to sign cheaper players and mould them into great players, the way teams like Arsenal tend to do (but you know, without the lack of trophies), rather than spending £20m, £30m, £50m on players, because if nothing else, that ridiculous price just puts extra pressure on the player, eg. Torres.

If we could pick up a few wingers, a creative midfielder and maybe a right back each for under £10m and help them develop into quality players it would be much better for the club than spending sh*t loads on "superstars" who will inevitably flop.

I would say most of us are all for this too. I'm sure every premier league club has the same intention - buy players cheap and mould them into superstars to keep or sell for a mint. Won't happen overnight but I hope we gradually curb our spending over the next few years and use our academy proficiently.

There would definitely be an upside to something like this, Hamburg is a fairly big club. However, as you mentioned, it would probably be better to get them EPL experience.

garbosj Ian McGarry

Neymar tops the list as marquee signing for #CFC. Team will be rebuilt around Torres to satisfy Abramovich's vanity purchase.

#CFC have already instigated plans to sign 5 new players this summer. All of whom have been approved/recommended by Hiddink.

This garbosj guy seems to be a bit reliable, apparently has close sources within the club.

5 players ?!

Neymar, Modric, Sanchez , Van der Weil,

IF not modric....Hamsik

ha ha.....I live in a dream world

Willian is one of them.

Willian is one of them.

I'd be fine with that, I think if we're getting him then we won't be in for N'Zogbia.

From what I've read, Willian is pretty versatile, can play on either wing, as an attacking midfielder, or even as a supporting striker, so for the price being mentioned I think he'd be a good addition to the squad.

I wonder whether we'll go for a 4-2-3-1 with the 3 attacking midfielders rotating to confuse the defence...

-----------------Cech--------------------

VdW----Luiz---------Terry------Cole

------------Mikel-----Ramires----------

Willian-------Modric---------Neymar

----------------Torres-------------------

Would definitely take that as a starting XI next season...

Edit: I'm guessing that the 5th of the reported signings would be a backup keeper...

That is a fantastic side, but what about our Josh?!

Yeah, I was thinking about that...It's a struggle to fit him in really - if we get Modric then there's not really anywhere to fit him, but I don't think Josh is quite ready to step up just yet so we need someone at least for the interim period. Maybe those Kaka rumours wouldn't be such a bad thing after all :P

Josh isn't ready to play in the starting 11 against Champions League and the tougher Premier League sides. I'd certainly use him in the Carling Cup and FA cup early rounds though. He's also excellent to have as injury cover and we should be using a squad rotation anyway.

Who is this Willian fella you all think is great?

Seems to be quite versatile. Wiki has him as right defender/winger.. and from other sources(fm )seems he can play anywhere in midfield or wide in attack. Decent prospect, but why would he get in the side ahead of say, Sturridge?

Because Willian plays a position where we currently don't have anyone better, whereas Sturridge does not.
