I never really picked upon why chelsea let this lad go ? Did he goto Birmingham city from Chelsea ? If so he stepped down and not up which his abilty 

was sending him .

I seem to recall a song about P L when i was at primary School in early 1970s and it went as this >>> 90 miles an hour 90 miles an hour <<< . Thats all 

i can recall and it was about the pace of his shots for obvious reasons . Around the same time i was getting pulled to chelsea FC due to pictures of the old NORTH STAND and the white stripe down the blue shorts and not to mention the  Odd / different shape of the nets/goals at SB .

Thank god PL did not pull me to Leeds Leeds Leeds like untold from my neck of the Woods was ,as that was passed down from dads to sons or close location of Leeds to donny and drfc been a 4th or 3rd division team at best back then.

when donny rovers played Leeds at Wembley about 10 years back in League one play off final ,the Leeds half of the the ground was sold out 55,000 .Donny end of ground had about 18,000 in it and 3000 of them were all donnywhites and got tickets due to their post Code . 5 mins into game there was 

a movement of fans ( donnywhites) all upto into the empty sections in donny end behind the goals .

 

i was drinking in a pub with about 30 other donny lads all ddr and a millwall chap who had a connection to a ddr lad was having a drink with us .

He asked if he can Get on the blower to Get some millwall troops down to help us out . We passed off his request donnywhites/ddr had relationship 

all beit strained and powder keg at times ,also we would have looked like a set of twats on the FV front .

Did not have me specs on and i first thought what the heck is a real Madrid or dirty Leeds Leeds Leeds pic doing up .also fact that i could

I do know there was a metal sign sticking out high up with " mind your head" on it. No one was that tall

Then after getting chucked out of the North stand I tried to jump the shed end turnstile and got a painful crack on the head from that sign !

Maybe i was seeing things  but the PSG sticker stuck out like a sore thumb to me and i had to Ask me sen why it was up there and how as back then cfc had never played cfc at all . I just put it down to a PSG fan (s);with nothing better to do after chucking out time in local area and a bag of PSG stickers on hip .

Tambling just scored against West Ham 4th round FA cup in the sixties.
