Just seen the new home shirt,and to be honest not good, the gold looks gimmicky and cheap, how many marquee adidas teams will not have the classic 3 white stripes, and the badge has gold, imho epic fail. :-(

Good decision imo. I know its about increasing visibility for sales or whatever, but I like the idea of putting an exclaimation mark on this season in this seasons kit. Pretty irrelevant but a small quibble of mine, i guess.

I just didnt like when we did that in Moscow. I associate that 2007-8 kit with that classic win against the scousers in the semis, frank's penalty and celebration. I guess the superstitious me wanted to see us continue to wear that.

I love next the new kit, although there hasn't been a home kit I haven't loved for a long time! Away shirts usually spark more of a reaction from me, but I'll no doubt be getting this shirt at some point. This season I was undecided for the longest time what player to get on the back, but I went to the Norwich home game at the end of August and when Mata came on and scored, I decided there and then to get Mata, and it turns out he was POTY. My away kit for this year had Ramires on the back and he won Goal and Players' Player! Will have to choose wisely!

Would anyone buy that? Especially after Moscow were the Embroidery was completely different to that of what the players were wearing

I dunno I've seen a fair few people wearing the double shirt that had the FA CUP and PREM on it, even though it was never worn by the team

Quite a good point, If we did win the Champs League would this be on next seasons kit? I don't want to order it, when it 2 weeks time it could be wrong...

It also cursed the kit for the following season, everytime we wore it it brought back nightmares from Moscow

Considering it's probably stitched in i imagine it'll be hard to get it put on -

I'd have also thought that they'll bring out a new range with the gold star on it - i've not bought a chelsea kit for absolutely years but may have to get one!
