Not really a surprise, the Spanish police did the same thing to Chelsea fans inside the stadium at Zaragoza. The Spanish old bill are bigger thugs than the fans, just like the Italian old bill - cowardly c*nts the lot of 'em!

Looks to me like one or two rookies panicked and the rest had to follow suit to stop them getting battered by the mob. Someone must have ticked them off, you dont normally get clubbed in the street by the cops for nothing.

I wish the police in Northern Ireland would be a bit more like this when scumbags stand and throw bricks at them for hours on end.

The police here just stand and take it and occasionally fire water at them.

A City fan on a different forum who was there claims it was nothing but City fans just chanting loudly in the streets and then were confronted by the Spanish old bill for no other apparent reason.

Oh..... old bill means police! I've finally figured out why it says 'runs in with the old bill' under Chelsea Vintage; I figured it meant you had some sort of money problems. It's taking me a while to grasp this British vocabulary!

Anyhow, that did look completely out of order, terrible scenes.

f**king unsurprising to say the least, as BlueBeard said, the Spannish and Italian Old Bill are notorious. Wasn't it the Man U fans who were getting hammered in Italy a few seasons ago.

As for Caleb, just looked like a young fella, who knows maybe with proofs, and another guy saw him trying to get involved and dragged him away telling not to get involved?
