Haven't seen a thread for this on here so I figured I'd make one.

Would be a fantastic trophy to win considering it's so hard to qualify for and the Arsenal and Spud scum will never be able to get their hands on it!

These things are never simple, I have seen big teams struggle against the less known sides who run, chase and fight for their lives.

Well we never entered the European cup when we won the league in 55 because the fa didn't think it was much of a competition and now look at it. So for me if we have the chance to put our name on it we should who knows in 50 years time the world club championship could be the top prize so we should try our best to win it.

He won it at Inter with someone else's team, and now he gets another crack with someone else's team! The mans a fraud!

I've got to agree with the Rednosed one here, he might have been using it as a first dig of his mind games with Fata but its certainly unfair that it should be a pluus point on his CV...I must say though if it attracted someone else to hire him, I'd be ok with it.

This just tells me that your hate for Benitez is stronger than your love for Chelsea. Could never agree with this sentiment. Benitez can take all the plaudits he wants for this as long as Chelsea win. It will always come with an asterix to his name in much the same way people talk of how he won it with Jose's team.

Is this all tongue in cheek or are we really now hoping we lose matches and ultimately even get relegated so Benitez doesn't get to add things to his CV?

Yet again, I am not defending Benitez but if it isn't 'his' team and therefore does not deserve to be in charge in Tokyo, doesn't that mean that Robbie didn't deserve to be in charge of Ancelotti's/AVB's/Jose's or whoever's team it was that won the ECL?

I know that I for one would love to see Terry lift this trophy aloft and add it to Chelsea Football Club's honours list.

This is a little bit of history here and we might not have another chance to be World Club Champions, f**k RB this aint about him FFS, it's about Chelsea and what we done last season to get here.

It's called sticking by your team through thick and thin.

Seeing as I started following Chelsea when they were in Division 2 and my first full season of going regularly again we were in Division 2 I don't think I can be accused of not sticking with my team through thick and thin.

In fact the appointment of the FSW for me is the biggest test I've faced as a Chelsea fan, I can stomach most things that go on at this club, but I can't stomach that man, for the first time ever I'm ashamed of something the club has done!
