Lukaku to Everton

Featured Replies

Tid,

Whatever you think of me, it's irrelevant to me. I would rather if you refrain from your idiotic comments. Thanks. I don't need you to insult me here.

I don't think he was insulting you mate, just having a laugh I think.

Bobby,

Jokes are fine as I twisted the name of Sturbridge. I certainly don't need to be pampered here, but don't f**king tell me about being nuked by...

Calm down Pierre I was having a laugh.

Deep breaths

Just curious, if we did sell lukaku to liverpool, would you accept sturridge coming the opposite way? It's all wishful thinking, but if it came to fruition that liverpool were willing to pay out for lukaku and we offered a swap deal, maybe plus 10 million for sturridge, how would people on here feel about it? Would you welcome him back with open arms?

why would that ever happen?

Fee for Romelu Lukaku around 30 million. #CFC #EFC (via @DiMarzio)

Where the hell are Everton getting £30 million sheets from?!

Everton close the purchase of Lukaku: figures and details

Sparks flying, the love story between Everton and Romelu Lukaku looks set to continue. Negotiations with Everton, the club where the Belgian striker played last season, are at an advanced stage, with the club ready to dish up around €30million (EUROS) plus potential add-ons and bonuses to ensure they seal the player outright. Chelsea are tempted by the offer which may be the right one, and new developments are expected within the coming hours. Romelu Lukaku is close to returning to Everton.

Do Everton have £30m? Their record transfer to date is £15m for Fellaini and a prospective £30m for Lukaku would be double that.

Obviously they got a fair bit of money last season when they sold Fellaini on (£27.5m) but half of that went on James McCarthy (£13m) and they've also signed McGeady and Besic on top of that (undisclosed fees but I would imagine they were at least a few million each).

If we are getting rid of Lukaku, I'd like to see us loan him to Everton this year and sell him abroad with one year left on his contract. At Everton he'll help them take points off our rivals whilst being unable to play against us and then he'll leave the league

How irritating! That amount seems more plausible, especially considering that Everton desperately need at least one more centre forward. The only strikers they have on their books right now are Arouna Koné and Steven Naismith...

with one year on his contract we'd get max. £10 mil.

Deal with two years is talking about £23 mil.

We'd get a fee for the loan this year. I just dont want him in the league, whether i'd take a £10m hit for that not to happen i dont know
