any multitude of excuses!! spending time with family was his latest one, but pictures keep popping up of him here and there but never with a pen in his hand !! i honestly believe he finished the book ages ago but held it back too long, giving all the GOT nerds too much time to predict his plot or invent every other possible scenario !! so now he is buggered and it would not surprise me if  he lets the series conclude before he releases it, especially now that it has overtaken the books any way. I think he has created a bit of a monster !! but what ever you do, do not criticize him on any internet chat !! his fans think he is god and get proper arsey!! i think the bloke is mugging them all off

    Sorry, I don't have to time, I have to go and pay GRRM for the product that he's not releasing and is not selling despite the enormous demand.
