If Chelsea and ManU won't get a compromise on the bargain, can Rooney subsidize it by himself like Fabregas?

I think that in the incident of Rooney's prospective deal, local public opinion is the greatest vantage for Chelsea, because none of Englanders will grant Rooney being a substitution of a Dutch.

Further more, if we can take this freeride to make many ManU fans secede, then we can passingly strike on their next "dynasty".

So if there is a decent margin between two bids from Chelsea and ManU, do you think we (at least the Chelsea directors) should entice Rooney to subsidize the deal by himself, like what Cesc Fabregas did?

Opinions from neutral England football fans are important.

Lastly, I bet that there will be a second "Cesc subsidizer" in 4 years , welcome to dig the grave.

I think it all depends on how badly he wants to play for us, but it's certainly feasible. I don't think he would, but it's not impossible if he wants to come here badly enough.

I never saw the point in a club keeping hold of a player that doesn't want to play for them. In some ways it's just proving that they are bigger than the club.

What does "substitution of a Dutch" mean? I am perplexed.

My favourite was the Manure fans seceding. Well why not, if they have a viable economy...

What the f**k are you talking about ?

Better to write in your own English with mistakes than copying and pasting in Google translate - as an expat I understand its hard writing in another language, but we will forgive errors!
