Diego Costa to Chelsea

Featured Replies

The incident with Terry should be a red flag to the club, he knows we are interested in him, you'd think he'd be on his best behaviour...not acting like the big lad and squaring up to the club captain. He is a grade A tosser.

The video of him gathering spit in his hand (multiple times) and throwing it at people is nothing short of vile. That is beyond disgusting, and I don't care how good he is, I don't want to see any Chelsea player ever doing that.

Yes he has fire at determination, thats great, but theres a bigger problem here - he is a nasty w**ker and a liability. We are hated enough as it is, if we land Costa people will have a GENUINE reason to hate us. Lets not give them that, he is a disaster of a man.

Maybe, just maybe Mourinho can contain him and turn that negative energy around, but he has deep levels of anger and that is not good.

The premier league is the most psychical it gets, with that temperment he would be lucky to play half the season.

I'd much rather we moved for Cavani or took a chance with Falcao than pay this w**ker a boat load of money to disgrace the shirt.

Agreed.

The man just oozes c**tness.

He's not that great either, better than what we have but a 30 odd million player...please!

Suarez screams trouble but even after missing the first 6 games of the season he's still managed to score 30 league goals (so far).

Sometimes brilliance comes with baggage... If that baggage brings a 30 goal a season player I'm all for it.

He is at liverpool though so gets a free ride.

Ramires and Oscar were getting pegged as divers so imagine him in a chelsea shirt..........

not his biggest fan, but we've missed out on Lewandowski, falcao, cavani, aguero, ovee the last few seasons to replace drogba.

He seems like the best available now, cant really judge him from last night, how many times will he come up against as strong a defensive unit as that?

Since we are already hated, will it really matter if the reason is genuine or not? Most of them don't really seem to care anyway.

we have been too soft up front for too long...like that this guy fights for everything...we have become too 'nice' as a team...people moan he was trying to wind up JT etc...if he'd been soft against his future club, you'd moan then too about how he let the situation get to him...given how defensive we were, I liked what I saw from him...got involved in the play a lot more than our strikers currently do, dropped deep on occasion and linked up play well...sure he didn;t have his best night in front of goal, but think we should give our players credit for that...given how poor cavani was against us in comparison and his £50m+ price tag, it's a no brainer for me and as for falcao, haven't we learnt our lesson about buying ageing strikers who have suffered a serious injury enough already?

The way we set up is how the majority of teams in the EPL set up at the Bridge and thats where we have struggled to score goals. West Ham, Sunderland ect.

I don't see him as a special talent like Suarez, Drogba, Augero ect who can score a goal out of nothing to change a game.

He might be the best available but we will be paying WAY over the odds for a fairly average striker IMO. Better than what we have 100% but we will no doubt still be looking for a special striker even if he ends up here.

He' an over-rated c*nt, I f*ckin'' hate the bloke. If we were stupid enough to sign him he'd be sent off every other game and spend half the season suspended. His reaction to JT winning the ball (fairly) should serve as a warning to the club.

And besides, he's way too ugly to play for Chelsea, the sacred royal blue is way too good for the likes of him. And I'm not picking on him alone for his looks, I mean, Atletico have got to be one of the ugliest teams ever! And their fans were almost as bad, a stadium full of faces that could be used to scare violent criminals.

I'm Not all that worried about him being a bit of a c**t, we need a bit of c**t in the team. I'm more concerned that he's Not actually all that good, yes he scores goals but so did kezman.. for me I don't see anything outstanding and think he is a product of the team as opposed to being a special player of any kind

Roman knows this guy is scum, we'll be going after Cavani.

Cavani has the warrior attributes, without being a total bellend. He didnt turn up against us but he is one hell of a player.

I also think he is pretty average, As for the c**t in our team, We have Ramires to do the c**tish things that are needed to be done.

I don't think he gets a free ride, he;s very much in the limelight every time he plays but he delivers the goods consistently.

Ramires has done himself no favours this season and some of the stuff he's pulled, if Suarez had done it we'd all be cursing him for it.

Oscar's dive (against Southampton?) was pretty shameful and he had the goal at his mercy, I'm hoping it's a lesson learned on his part there.

As what what the media might say about us were Costa to sign, f**k 'em. We get plenty of anti-Chelsea coverage already, especially with Jose back so what's a few more column inches bemoaning us the worst thing to happen in modern day football if it brings home the silverware.

Teams may set up that way, but how many set up defensively with that standard of players.

Theres more chance of john oshea switching off than there is terry.

I dont think he is that good either, but he has good movement, loves the physical side, he can finish, and he's full of confidence.

If he hits the ground running, I think he can be good for us.

Could do but I have major doubts about him. He will be targeted in the EPL and his moronic antics and squaring up will see him banned no doubt.

I hope we are after a Cavanni or someone else too, I can't see Costa being our answer.

Id be happy if signed cavani, but if signing cavani stopped us getting a centre midfielder, id prefer costa and a midfielder.

Dont think we can afford cavani, plus a quality midfielder, and left back, bit that would be ideal for me.

That's another problem.

What real quality central midfielders are available? I can't think of any realistic options.

Not sure tbh, I like witsel but he wouldn't be cheap, rakitic is available but im not sold on him. I think we will have to see how the market develops with that one, there could be players available in the summer that look tied down now, like willian was last season.

I don't think that we need a midfielder so badly, Matic is world class, Ramires gets things done for us, Mikel, Lamps and even David Luiz can cover when necessary, Give Chalobah a chance ffs.

would prefer a better playmaker than what you've listed, would love to give chalobah some game time next season but he is a defensive midfielder similar to matic and mikel.

Pjanic would be a good option for that, Don't know if Roma would sell though.

i think morata is more of a striker/winger feom what ive seen off him, and pjanic was an attacking midfielder bit I don't know if he's played deeper at roma, than he was at lyon.

Im thinking more of a modric, fabregas or kroos type of centre mid, that can dictate the tempo.

Ramires cant pass and his end product is terrible.

Lampard is close to being finished as a footballer, he's not even a shadow of what he used to be.

Luiz is not a central midfielder.

Mikel does a great job when our backs are to the wall, however the majority of the time we are the team on the front foot and he does not shine in that role.

Matic apart our central midfield area is bog standard and isn't good enough to win the league IMO.

Marco V still has a chance and we aint seen much of him so hopefully he is the answer but if not we need to look to bringing in a genuine top class midfielder.

I read on here people saying "he is a d**khead, but he would be our d**khead"................well that means bugger all really, and i don't agree at all that every team needs a player like this, that is just rubbish. This guy crosses the line. Ramos and Pepe are absolute knobheads but Costa should be the bigger man, he is a disgusting professional. Gobbing into his hand and throwing it into a players face is sick, and then he tries to bite Ramos too.

This video is from a while ago now but he is still diving every week and being an absolute prick to players. All Terry did was clear the ball today and he tries to start something with him, what is that all about ?

I hate Suarez, to me he is the worst of the lot, so if i supported someone who is very similar too him i would be a hypocrite.

I would rather we stayed the hell away from him but if we do sign him i pray he doesn't bring this sh*t ove here. I don't want that type of player playing for our club.
