Don't think Atletico are one of the best teams in the world tbh, they are having a great season yes but not one of the best teams in the world IMO.

Plenty of teams have won their leagues and CL trophy and not been one of the best teams in the world.

If Atletico can keep it up for a few seasons then yeah...

I think they will need to add to their squad and not lose anyone for that to happen and a few on here have touched on their finacnial situation so not sure they can.

I'd have Dzeko before Costa, Negredo and most of the others we have been linked to.

Other than Cavanni he's probably the best option but City won't sell.

This is the great thing with City, they have plenty of options for their striking positions. Aguero gets injured, they bring in another striker in Dzeko who is scoring fairly regularly at the moment, as well as another dangerous front man in Negredo.

He probably would be but thats not saying much so would Shola Ameobi. City wont sell Dzeko and he is also 28 i would like someone younger. I dont even think City fans rate him that much, he is a good striker but there are plenty of them around we need someone genuine world class. Dont think Dzeko is any better than Lukaku.

All about personal opinion of course but I really like him as a striker. He seems to score improtant goals and 16 goals in the league is not bad considering for the early parts of the season Aguero n Negredo were the partnership of choice.

They won't sell though, they have a great balance up front and I can't see that being touched.

I'd like to see Lukaku given a run of games but I still feel we need better, going by Joses comments today something is being worked on or even agreed....smart money is that is Costa.

Lukaku, Costa and Eto'o would be a huge improvement but City would still be ahead in quality terms in that area.

Costa could well be a one season show. I hope we don't sign him!
