Diego Costa to Chelsea

Featured Replies

He nutted a guy, got punched and almost ended up in afight with a levente guy about half an hour ago. He is such a prick.

Did he really ? well if at the first sign of trouble he is going to lose his sh*t then i don't want him here more than ever. Ramires is getting rightly slated on here for doing the exact same thing when things go against him so i would expect the same for Costa. Also the prem is a tougher league than La Liga so i can see defenders really getting to him. Seems like a liability, just like Balotelli.

Plus the Chelsea fans need a new cult hero too many pansies in our team when the going gets tough these days

You don't need to be a prick to be a cult hero, and you don't need to be a prick to be a good player.

Imagine it was Costa on the end of what that Norwich defender did to Ba. Seems he would go mental.

And get himself sent off, and then the defender would have won. There has got to be better choices out there than this nut case. Even if i don't know who that guy is surely our scouts have been looking right ? that is their job after all.

You don't have to be a c**t to score goals... Why are so many people treating that like it's a good thing?

If he bites/drop kicks Suarez I'm getting his name tattooed on my inner thigh.

I can imagine every single game the opposition will try to get him to react to get him sent off.

For me personally, we have to let this one go, he would be a liability and I could never trust him. I don't even trust Rambo

for christ's sake and this guys psycho compared...

He's an utter c**t.

He will be banned for a good chunk of the season if he tries that scummy sh*te here

Surprisingly, he hasn't been sent off this season.

Don't know if they do restrospective action in spain but if he did some of sh*t he has done over here then he will miss 10 or so games just through suspension let alone injury

Yeah, this is a bit of a worry if I'm honest! I knew he had a short fuse, but not that short. He would definitely have received a 4 game ban for that on a retrospective, if not straight red. Maybe Cavani, Mandzukic and Lukaku would be a wise combination?

Or Cavani, Lavezzi and Lukaku...

(Shows all of his involvement throughout the match)

He literally argues every call the ref made against him...he just seems far and away the worst transfer target for chelsea. Hopefully all of these rumors will go away of him coming here

Lets re focus our collective energy and seek a new striker partner for Lukaku!

Exactly. People here are thinking he's a warrior etc. etc. but they forget this is EPL not that scrappy La Liga. If he do that here he'll get sent off every other match!

That Roy Keane bloke was a bit of a nutter, from memory he turned out fairly well for United.

Still the type of absolute c**t I wouldn't want associated with our club though.

So happy someone brought this up! Watched the game and throughout he was a real petulant brat!

Nothing new for us, as he was up to those antics here at The Bridge... Dont care if he does bang in 30+ goals... the boy is an arrogant child and not someone i would want associated with the club! Slap a 40mil price tag to him and my fear that trait of his will only get worse!

Bo**ocks to him!

I can't stand our league. We've created a situation where it's almost a non-contact sport. At least in la liga there's a little bit of physical contact, albeit more divers, but diego costa at least enjoys getting physical with opposition players and doesn't pussy foot around them. I think this type of mentality is good because it brings out the best in players and makes them want to prove a point.

Have you watched La Liga?

Ours is the most physical (major) league in the world.

it's being reported in Spanish press that we've agreed a deal to sign Costa on a 5 year contract

same website quotes Corriere dello Sport as saying we've turned down an approach from Roma for Lukaku with a signal coming from Stamford Bridge that Lukaku will be in our own squad next season
