Sterling? No chance. I would have Silva or Lallana over Sterling, Fernandinho over Gerrard and Dave has been much better than Shaw at left back. Solid team otherwise.

Main question mark for me was sterling too, really rate Lallana. I'd agree with the other two you mentioned as well but a lot closer to call.

They did a public vote between sterling and lallana for that position, but obviously with the amount of Liverpool fans we all know who would win that.

They also did a vote regarding the left back (baines or shaw) and the goalkeeper (cech or marshall)

Pleased with the CB pairing!!

I didn't actually watch it just come up on twitter, tried avoiding the talking as they normally talk about other games and still not over the defeat and don't wanna hear the Liverpool praising.

Bit surprised azpilicueta wasn't even in their top two, think he's been great. 4 out of a back 5 from Chelsea really wouldn't of been surprising for me but have rated Marshall this year, I think I'm right in saying he has highest number of saves and I can understand the thinking in shaw as well. i normally hate these teams but these did a good job, find myself liking Neville and Carragher more than I thought I ever would

I'd argue Sterling and Gerrard that's for sure, I agree with Remodez on both changes too - Lallana & Fernandinho in for them. I'd like Azpi at LB but perhaps they have taken Shaw's experience in the top flight (i.e. none) and how much he has impressed in his first season plus his age and his England call up. Ability/effort wise it isn't really a cotest, Azpi every time... I'd still take him though.

No real disagreements elsewhere.

Gerrard's in there because he was a cry baby the other week and Sterling is in there based on his performances in the last month or so, not for the whole season.

Lallana has shown much better consistency and I think he deserves to be in there.

.

Pretty damning of City's team that it's hard to argue the inclusion of many of their players considering they are the best paid in the world of sport.

Gerrard is really only there because Ramsey has been injured the last few months, Fernandinho is living in Toure's shadow and Matic only arrived in January.. Barely the 5th best player in his position in the league.
