January 13, 201511 yr loads of chelsea fans in Kent isn't that right Sparkplug Lots of us old ones who moved down the line most places seem to have a following mainly Old School there must be some remnants of old Hickys firm still living in the Garden of England
February 6, 201511 yr I grew up in Pimlico in the 60s.Everybody there suppprted Chelsea, still do. Back then Chelsea's best firms were from Stockwell,Vauxhall,Kennington,Battersea,Brixton,C amberwell, The Elephant and Walworth
February 6, 201511 yr I was in Nairobi 2 weeks ago, loads of Chelsea shirts worn by locals. But were plenty of other clubs represented in Mombasa.
February 16, 201511 yr I was up in north Manchester this weekend visiting the in laws (a bit of a moody area I must add) and I saw on two separate occasions 2 different teenage lads wearing the new home shirt, I was very surprised as it ain't that far from city's ground.
February 16, 201511 yr Not really surprising, regularly see Man United and Liverpool shirts in Fulham, and if they were teenage it means they were born 1996-2002 so would have started watching football from around 2003-2009, where we were successful.
February 17, 201511 yr I've lived in Yorkshire for nearly 6 years and you see Chelsea shirts pop up now and then. We are a nationally and globally supported team now, success breeds fan base. It's no different to when I was growing up in Sussex and Kent, and loads of kids born in the 70's were Liverpool fans.
February 17, 201511 yr In the pre Bates era, in the programmes they used to announce supporters club branches that were sprouting up across the country. Seem to remember there being one in Harrogate, Yorkshire. No glory hunters back then either
February 17, 201511 yr I'm in York and we have an official supporters club. We used to have a pub in town where we watched the matches which was decked out in CFC but we've moved now to the local sports bar which is bigger and does better food!
February 17, 201511 yr Official supporters' club here in Shropshire too. Before I first went to a game with them, I was wondering whether most of them would be fellow-Londoners like me who had moved up with work and was sort of age they'd be. On the whole, they're nearly all native Salopians (judging by their accents anyway, I haven't done a formal survey or anything!) and at least some of them have been going for decades - certainly pre-Roman times.
February 17, 201511 yr Have seen a few people wearing Chelsea shirts in Larkhall - it's not far from Glasgow - when I've been visiting family there.
February 17, 201511 yr We've always had fans from all corners of the UK following us going back to the 60s, i know lads from Penrith, Darlington, Manchester, to name a few who have all been coming to games since the 70s/80s when we were proper sh*t & they all still go now, Maribor at home i met an older fella from Plymouth who does every game home & away. One of the weirdest times for me was meeting some scouse Chelsea down at Southampton away in the early 90s, then i had a family of scousers behind me at Liverpool in the league cup in 2001.
February 17, 201511 yr There were lots of northern Chelsea back in the seventies and eighties especially from Yorkshire think it started from the 1970 cup final a few times back then especially midweek games away from home seemed to be more locals than Londoners
February 25, 201511 yr was chatting to a pal recently about old times and chels groups from other parts and he reminded me about the lads from Hastings who approached us in a big old pub in Manchester about 2hrs before kick off on that Friday night in may '84. we pulled in to the car park in a transit van and saw a wrecked minibus in the opposite corner. It belonged to them and they'd left it there previously to go off and venture around the city centre. On their return, the guvnor informed them it had been attacked just after they'd left and they were now stranded albeit it was a hire van so weren't too bothered. we had a full van so couldn't help 'em get to Maine rd but remember seeing their flag in the ground later. presume there's still a decent following from down there?

April 13, 201511 yr I was born and bred in Pimlico, used to walk to the ground. It Still is a Chelsea area. I Live in Gravesend now, there's a fair few Chelsea here, West Ham & Arsenal and a lot of plastic mancs.
April 13, 201511 yr Not really surprising, regularly see Man United and Liverpool shirts in Fulham, and if they were teenage it means they were born 1996-2002 so would have started watching football from around 2003-2009, where we were successful. i`ve seen loads of kids wearing man u and liverpool shirts in london and basically everywhere else.....man u i can understand by that they were winning leagues only a couple of years ago they were successful......but liverpool??? honestly can`t fathom out why kids would want to be liverpool fans....they`ve been crap for 25 years....maybe their dads are liverpool fans and it`s rubbed off on them Edited April 13, 201511 yr by Devil Dog
December 2, 201510 yr This has just been released on our planning application for the new build of Stamford Bridge. Its only a small amount of our 25,000 sts though, Chelsea season tickets by London Boroughs.
December 2, 201510 yr Im from the North East Hampshire/Surrey border area, local towns are Aldershot, Farnborough and Camberley. This area is approx. 30 miles to the south west of Stamford Bridge and has always had very large Chelsea following, even before the Abramovich era. When I first started watching Chelsea, Chelsea was my closest 1st Division/Premier League team.
