So many midfielders linked with us already, from the Pogba to Henderson. I suppose we could have a spot for him or the Southhampton guy, if Ramires move on. What happened with the Biber looking guy we signed ( Van?), is he stuck on the bench at Milan?

I think he's a decent player. I feel a tad bit of sympathy for Liverpool as all their best players seem to want to leave.

I don't think Henderson wants to actually leave - yet.

But I would never feel sympathy for them though. You reap what you sow. If Brendan Rodgers had any sort of tactical know how, they would have got better results against us and Palace last year and almost certainly won the league.

You can't expect to keep players like Suarez with the lure of the Europa league.

Of course I would but other teams fans would be joyous. I will never feel sorry for that club ever.

No, f**k em. If that happened to us they and most other teams would laugh at us. It's hard to feel any sympathy for fans of other clubs when they constantly talk sh*te about us.

Henderson has improved a lot this season, seems to be taking the responsibility of the captaincy role very well, but still not good enough to to start for us and not worth it to have him parked on the bench.

If he didn't qualify as a home grown player I'd probably say he is a good player but we should be able to do better.

 

But he does qualify as home grown and that is a big deal.  He might not be Pogba or Fabregas, but those who are quick to dismiss him could stick their necks out and offer their alternatives for a home grown place in our squad.  He is miles ahead of Chalobah or Loftus-Cheek and maybe winding down to 12 months remaining on his contract might not be too expensive.

I rejoice in it actually.. I dont have the capability to be sympathetic towards liverscum

We also have a bunch of kids playing in the youth champions league final tonight.. All home grown. They just need a chance

He's also 6 years older than Loftus-Cheek...maybe we should give him a chance to actually realise his potential. 

 

Loftus-Cheek is better now than Henderson was at the same age.

BlueDaze is bang on. RLC is better than Henderson was at his age so why sign a player that will stunt his progression? No suggesting we're never going to sign another midfielder before RLC makes it but after Jose said we may as well close the academy if we can't produce homegrown talent I doubt we'll sign Henderson
