It's FA Cup Final day, so let's reminisce what's your favourite FA Cup moment?

Mine:

Robbie Di Matteo vs Middlesbrough

same here, 43 seconds into the 1997 cup final, fantastic day out at Wembley, remembering as a kid all the cup finals in the 70's and 80's, to me after being at wembley in 97, it was the final time that a cup final really meant anything, its a shame and I know we've won them since, but unless we are in one, I never bother watching them.

Apart from us, when at school in west suusex, Brighton had a cup run all the way to the final in 1983, even beating Liverpool at Anfield, all my mates were Brighton fans and went to the final and replay, remember in the first match in the final few minutes, Gordon smith had one on one to win It for Brighton, thankfully at the time he missed and united won the replay 4-0, if that had gone in my life would of been a misery, and I wouldn't of heard the last of it, remember it was the season we nearly went down to div 3, so they use to big it up all the time. How times have changed.

The three wins against the odds against Liverpool in 78, 82 and 97 were all so good I can't separate them.

I'd put Osgood's diving header to equalise in the 1970 replay up there as well.

You know of the Cup finals we've played in I think the 2012 Final against Liverpoo was probably the best 'match' of them.

Also who can forget this moment, probably my second top moment in Chelsea FA Cup history

Also I enjoyed beating Luton at wembeley and the game that we won on penos at Newcastle in 96.

beating Luton, and the send off we gave Kerry Dixon after, he was now playing for Luton, "one kerry Dixon"

1997 had some great moments, the game against Liverpool, Zolas goal in the semi, Robbies goal in the final, plus actually winning that cup - it ended our trophy drought and it was my first major trophy as a fan.

Cool, did you go or did you watch it on TV?

Watched both matches on tv. The side in the late 60s /early 70s is the reason Chelsea drew a lot of support outside of London My mum wrote a letter to the club after the final and I got a letter from Dave Sexton back and some goodies.

My brother and I also wrote to Dave Sexton back then, but ours was a request for cup final tickets! We never got a reply, let alone any goodies.
