That was yesterday, Today ssn has shown video of England fans burning stuff, Throwing bottles at locals and getting involved with the police, There's no way to put a positive spin on this, It's not good.

Yes, I've seen footage of them set a fire in a shop porch, sing about the war and one had a model bomber plane. Pathetic.

I've seen pics and footage of Russain fans fighting, and seen posts on social media from England fans saying they were being 'run' by Russains and also tear gassed without reason by French police.

Eastern Europe has serious issues with football fans, Russia no different with a large far right contingent.

England fans aren't blameless, but I've seen and read enough to believe they aren't the only idiots out there like a few of the posts here are alluding to.

Of course they're not but the initial fighting was with French locals. The Russians landed and straight into an already crusading bunch of 18-30 year old morons, of course it's going to get heated. Sweep and deny all you like, the evidence is pretty damning in this instance.

What part of 'England fans aren't blameless' didn't you understand?

^^^ sobbing uncontrollably.

How dare anyone criticise the beloved English hooligans at a big tournament. Jesus wept.

Somebody dares to disagree with what you post means they are sobbing and crying?

Try putting your point across without trying to belittle the other person. Just a thought.

Give it a rest,

There are plenty of videos doing the rounds of English fans being attacked by either French locals or Russians, hard to tell who because both dress like tramps and there's evidence of stolen England flags help upside down as some sort of trophy which is a common act carried out by European Ultras. Trouble is most England fans don't run and are prepared to give it back.

It's not to say all English fans are innocent because they're not but the trouble on Thursday started when the fans were attacked by the French and it's escalated ever since with the Police caught in the middle of a three way fight.

After the way Chelsea fans were tear gassed at the PSG game with no visible provocation, I'm inclined to believe that the hooligan nature being reported of English fans most certainly has a seed of truth, but that it's exaggerated and has caused overreaction by the French police. Just a personal feeling based on nothing concrete.

There's a huge clash of culture between French and UK policing styles. God help us (and all other fans) in Qatar. People are going to get shot and that's not hype. It could happen.

Really hoped Qatar would fold after fraud came to light.

Me too. It's a mad, insane, choice of venue. Fans are going to hate being there and players will struggle to play, and stay healthy, in the heat. Madness.

Was just on the news here today. A Dutch 22 year old women is in prison in Qatar after being raped and reporting it to the police. Having sex outside of marriage is breaking the law.

Not the first time that's happened there as well. Absolute bonkers to let them organize such a big event.

You're worried about Qatar? What about Russia 2018, Think of all the Russian fans out to get English fans there.

A friend of ours, black English African, went to Russia once and said he'll never return after a racist attack.
