So I think we've had a poor start, Swansea were arguably the better team and exposed some flaws in our setup and players all game - Ivan was repeatedly exposed and also through the middle with direct runners coming from deep. So let's put that down to early season sharpness not there yet

Then there's the OScar situation as just heard he may have a niggle and won't play - well I don't buy that if you see his reaction when he scored and when he got subbed he is not happy - it's possible he is going out maybe in a swap deal cos our lack of a big signing looks odd when we have the money and everyone else has strengthened - he could fit in any of the top reams in Europe so juve or real or barca or bayern - maybe we'll get a swap. Personally I hope not as he is one of my favourites

Lastly there's falcao and well he doesn't look on it all -maybe sharpness will come but in 90mins or so we have seen he looks like Kezman, I am not kidding

So it's not quite right and this weekend looks like a big test. Yes we all have faith in Jose and the squad but let's also recognise when things aren't quite right

Bad week but 37 games to go plus Europe soon,plenty of time to turn things around.Too early to judge after just one game and a terrible performance.

The only players I can see Oscar being swapped for are Pogba and Bale otherwise we wouldn't need to part with Oscar to make the deal and tbh I don't think RM would want/need Oscar
so that leaves Oscar + a few mill for Pogba and as much as I want Pogba I wouldn't want to lose Oscar so don't really want this to happen, I would much prefer Fabregas to be the swapped player. 

That's if there is anything in the Oscar situation which I don't think there is / hope there isn't

This will be a hard season.  Very hard to defend a title...very hard.  Hardest league around.

 

We'll be up there but this will probably be the hardest season we've ever had, think of the expectation and history.  Arsenal, City and United have seriously strengthened.  Few of the others are pushovers.

 

We may not win anything...it's a possibility.  Hear me out, not clanging the bell of doom, the hardest league is now harder...we did that, we're why they are doing that.

 I wouldn't flog Cesc I would just rather keep Oscar than Cesc as I think he adds more in the long term, (unless Fab does a Pirlo and plays til hes into his late 30's). I also feel Oscar is better suited to a high pressing game which I think the club is looking to progress towards.

But in an Ideal world we keep both players with Ramires being swapped for Pogba in a player + money deal Juve are rumoured to be interested hey maybe even throw in Mikel.

In any case I don't think any of these are on the cards so it doesn't really matter.

P.s They tell me here on the farm that I am perfectly normal, so there is nothing to worry about,  nothing to worry about,  nothing to worry about,  it's very peaceful here.

How have Arsenal or $ity seriously strengthened? $ity have a gaping hole at the back and Arsenal while improved, havent changed an outfield player.

Who knows what United are doing, 2 1-0 wins, one due to an own goal and another from a player theyve tried and are trying to replace.

Too much doom and gloom going on around here, we easily won the league last season. Lets have some optimism

If it's possible to do Oscar plus cash for Pogba, I'd do it, yes Oscar was terrific last weekend and hopefully this years different but he usually tails off in the second half of the year.

And since we're talking ifs. If that happened I'd also go after Goetze which would give us a midfield of..

We destroyed Swansea last season twice, yet we shouldn't expect that every time we play them. In my opinion they're probably the best managed team in the league. Let's not forget that they did the double last season on Arsenal and United. Of course it was a bit disappointing to draw the game after we were leading twice, but look at their start of the season. They've started the season brilliantly and in Montero they have a speed merchant who'll be difficult to deal with when he is on fire. 

 

So we should look forward to the next four games and we'll see after that. 

Well that's 1 of the next 4 games and tbh we were awful, back to front all game no one really up to scratch. If you add the fact the Jose took off JT at half time which he had never done before, and the result too then can't be a worse start.

The bench also had no game changers on it did it?

Well that weeks over so we can look forward to the baggies game and maybe start to see some sharpness

To be fair City were bloody brilliant.

As for JT I think it was a speed issue. We couldn't have chased this game with a slow CB. Yet, Mourinho's comment did have a strange sound to it. So I can merely guess that there was nothing more. 

 

Mourinho was never someone who came up with surprises when it comes to bringing someone from the bench or starting with a particular set of players. That's one aspect of his work which I find increasingly annoying. He'll never surprise us with involving a youth player all of a sudden.
