March 19, 201610 yr I struggle to know exactly the kins of player hazard is or wants to be. He doesn't score enough from open play to be a threat in an attacking set up, and he isn't a big assist maker. Compare him to neymar, robben, bale etc and they're everything you would want from ab wide attacker. This season yes, but prior to this season he had scored more than Robben or bale had at the same age. I firmly believe that this season was just a blip, like it was for jose. I don't think he is trying to engineer a move away from the club, in fact if he wanted to move to real madrid, wouldn't he have wanted to be playing the best football of his career? He's out of form, he's suffering with injury, let's give see how he is next season, and see if conte can inspire him to reach his potential, which he came close to last season. We won't be able to replace him in the summer anyway.
March 19, 201610 yr We shouldn't be selling. It's the exact time when we need him most. If he does want to go, tell him that he needs to give us one more season to help us getting back into the CL and then he has our blessing to leave. We shouldn't be selling our best players at a time when we need them most. I hope the club aren't delusional into thinking that top 4 will be easy next year.
March 21, 201610 yr Having just turned 25, im not sure if it would be wise to sell him as his best years are likely still ahead. However the way he's played this season I think it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to sell him. Especially at the quoted price of around 78m which is certainly a good offer.
March 27, 201610 yr Aparently Guardiola wants Kroos at City, so it's going to be tough for us to get world class midfielders. I wouldn't bring James, he is too unreliable and troublesome.
March 27, 201610 yr Huge exaggeration, he was neither the top scorer nor the top assist maker. Fabregas, Costa and Matic were more important than hazard for us last season maybe even JT too. Do not agree I don't agree with this either. When you compare him with Messi, Neymar, Bale, Rodriguez, Ronaldo that season he created the most chances, only Messi is close and the rest far behind. The same is true for how many succsessful take ons he had, only Messi is close to his number. The unbalance that created made it far easier for Costa and Fabregas to get the goals and assists they got. His pass completion of 87% is also far better then Messis 83%, Bales 78%, Ronaldos 81% etc. I wouldn't mind Hazard scoring and assisting more, but his overall game is alot more then that when he is in form. When the other team needs to send 2-3 players to watch one of yours you already have a big advantage, even bigger when he goes past all of them. :)
April 9, 201610 yr Papa Hazard says we've been forcing him to play injured. Wouldn't that be nice if that's the reason he's been so sh*t Papa Hazard is full of sh*t!!! Chelsea FC has one of the best sport medical / recovery center in the world. There is no way they would let him play injured match after match.
April 11, 201610 yr Papa Hazard is full of sh*t!!! Chelsea FC has one of the best sport medical / recovery center in the world. There is no way they would let him play injured match after match. Every thing seems to have changed after the Eva scenario. Injuries seem a lot more common place at Chelsea now.
