I think this one is going to happen.

 

If we continue to have a sh*t season then these rumors will only grow and grow. We all know that Real Madrid have been after Eden Hazard for a while now and it's pretty obvious that he will become a Galactio signing for them this coming summer. It does not matter if he has signed a new deal, Real Madrid is Real Madrid. I fear that if we continue to deteriorate then we will lose our hand of cards over Eden and he will do his most to force a move. 

 

Ideally we'd like to command a huge fee and potentially nab the likes of Raphael Varane or Gareth Bale in the process but if we have a clearly unsettled and pissed off player, one tired of carrying us (I'm beginning to think this is why he looks so lethargic, he just doesn't f**king care anymore), Real Madrid have the upper hand and could just meet the buy-out clause and off he goes.

You joking aren't you? He's scored something like 7 goals in the last 2/3 games. The guy is still an animal, no matter where he plays. I would take Ronaldo at Chelsea even now, he's that much of a game changer.

He's only scored in 1 out of real madrids 7 league games this season. (Admittedly he got 5 in that game). I do think that he is going to recline from now on, but he is still going to be one of the world's best for the next 3/4 years.

I don't know if there are just a lot of pessimists on here or I just don't know the facts. 

Does Hazard even have a buy-out clause, and if so, how high is it?

I'm not so sure about him not trying anymore either, he always starts his season off slowly, this season is no different. Maybe Hazard just isn't good enough to pull us out of this slump on his own? Our entire team is underperforming, do they all want to leave as well?

 

I think (and hope) that when our team finds some form so will Hazard. 

Pretty sure none of our player have buy-out clauses. In England buy-out clauses are only really used when players probably request them when they join a club and want to join a bigger/better one in the future. Otherwise buy-out clauses make no real sense for any club.

I would do a straight swap for Bale.

 

Bale has a desire to be the best, Hazard doesn't.

Hazard does have galactico written all over him though and I've always though they'd come in for him at some point.

In my opinion, this will happen.

 

Ronaldo is getting older and having less of an effect on their games. He'll be 31 next year and Madrid may look to cash in with PSG and United interested.

Bale AND Varane for Hazard all day.  I love Hazard, but clearly he isn't on the same level as Ronaldo or Messi.  

If you are being realistic I could see Perez sacrificing Varane to get Hazard. Bale though I do not think so, his agent has said he is very happy in Spain.

 

Question is would Jose let Eden go to get Varane and cash? Would Roman?

I don't think he'd get in the Barcelona team, Neymar gets a lot of goals for that front three. Don't see him displacing any of them.

The only place he is going on current form is Vitesse.

hazard on his day is world class. but everyone has their price and if those bully bar stewards come in for him, and he wants to go, then so be it. nobody is bigger than chelsea fc and i just hope we absolutely bleed them dry for every single penny we can if and when they come calling.

They've sold us their scraps and in return we sell them our best player. 

 

Boy, wouldn't that just be swell, hell let's throw in Dave as a sweetner too, Alves is getting on a bit after all. 

As we proved this summer, Real Madrid don't always get what they want, when they want it (though we were very lucky). But the fact we refused to do business with them until the end shows that they cannot just push big clubs around.

 

Even though it would obviously weaken a rival if you were to sell him to them, I really hope that, if they do come in for Hazard, you tell them to feck off.

 

It would really weaken our league. I also hate Madrid with a passion.

He is having a blip in form, it happens.

 

We do not want to lose him, it sends out the wrong message. That being said, if he wants to go, its tough to keep an unhappy player.
