Good to win but we have been in this position too often this season. Where we fail to build momentum. I don't expect anything at stoke

Anyway, big difference was, we worked harder and snapped at their heels when we lost the ball. I really think it's that simple. If only Willian could look up now and then, he would be an awesome talent 

Honestly, I don't feel like we improved from other games.

 

Managed to get the result which was good, and lets hope it breeds confidence. But we were still struggling to keep the ball, many players were hiding resulting in us having to go long, and the defence was too deep.

Instead of letting them come onto us we should have squeezed higher and tried to win the ball back further forward. Also wondered how he left it so long without making a change. Stevie wonder could see we needed fresh legs. Introduction of hazard and pedro changed things because they were able to receive the ball in tighter areas and keep it for us.

 

Positive was Baba..just provides much more balance even if he played with his stabilizers on.

All in all a massive relief to get a win. Any win.

 

A good night at the Bridge with a decent support, especially for Jose which didn't go unnoticed.

 

I thought we were decent in the first half. Not spectacular but decent.

 

Second half we started badly and invited far too much pressure. We sat back way too deep and let them come at us which was nervy and uncomfortable given our defensive woes this season. In years gone by we had teams that look they could play for 10 hours and not concede but not this team. It really did seem inevitable when they scored.

 

Thankfully, the reaction from both the crowd and the players was good and we threw the kitchen sink at them for the final 15 minutes with a positive injection from Hazard and Pedro (less so). By the end of the game it seemed like the players and fans were all enjoying themselves and Kiev were a well beaten team.

 

It was by no means a flawless performance overall but we got the job done with a positive feel about it. I would hope that the atmosphere and vocal support throughout for the Manager, combined with the win, would somewhat galvanize the team going into the weekend game against Stoke.  Get 3 points there and I like to think the ship would be steadied with some easier games on the horizon.

The not so good:

Most of our second half performance

Costa's sharpness, although he worked his socks off

If Ramires could pass he'd be better than Pogba

The media circus and trolls going back into their holes

Any win at the moment is important but I don't think we are going to see a sudden return to swashbuckling football any time soon.

Good first half, we played attacking football and didn't give space to Dynamo. The first goal came from Baba which switched side to Willian, this is why we need to play attacking RB's and LB's. 

 

Second half wasn't good enough, we didn't control the game and gave Dynamo too much, but I'm still happy with that win. I think Hazard was good, he had only 15 minutes but he made good things in 15 minutes. I'm happy to see Baba finally doing his work, he was excellent. 

 

Now let's focus on Stoke, good job boys!
