I'm under no illusions. They looked rotten and we struggled badly again but we had one job to do and we done it. Playing poorly and winning is a step in the right direction for confidence, although we have been saying this a few times already this season. Too many players are struggling baldy though. Costa looked horrendous. Hate seeing the big man struggle.

If only Willian had some other players performing well with him we would rip teams apart

Which would be fine if there were actually other players he could play that would solve those problems. Begovic was terrible for the goal and the corner that gave it away. The three CBs have all been pretty poor this season, and none of them have the technical ability to play out of defense with composure, which just puts them under greater pressure and leads to more mistakes. That's probably why Mourinho wanted to buy Stones in the summer.

No disagreements from me, but there were several options on the bench to try and change it up but he did nothing
