A lot of rumours pointing to Chelsea actively trying to make the last minute signing of Carvajal.

If this goes through it would be another excellent deal with the signing of Pato.

Carvajal is an excellent 1v1 defender like Azpi and also brings a really great touch and attacking ability. Would be good to have him especially with Ivan having his issues containing tricky wingers.

we already have a right back, but he's playing at left back!

Don't see that changing though. They wouldn't even give Abdul Rahman Baba a chance and he's a pure left back.

i suppose i would be for this with azpi at lb and carvajal at rb, but would prefer azpi in his natural position. however, both guys would be great on either flank and carvajal would be much more dangerous going forward than ivanovic would. i dunno why real would get rid though

Baba was good today and he's only 21. Ake is having a good season at Watford so no season why LB shouldn't be covered for 16/17

Azpi & Ivan for RB then look for his replacement come Jan 2017?
