Yes I am sure the players we signed from Italy during Conte's time at the club were against his wishes. 

Just  happy coincidence that we suddenly started tapping into Serie A for our players with our Italian Manager. 

I am sure signing Morata was against Conte's wishes too.

I think most concede the board could have done more, but lets not get silly, the board didn't sell all our star assets and leave him with a squad of youth players.

We sold players, and replaced them at great cost. I don't recall many complaining at the time that we were "downgrading". 

If we are going to look at "huge issues" then top of the list is a Manager who pisses & moans, puts down the current squad, picks fights with his own players & rival Managers, swipes at the board whenever possible, and stands around the touchline with a face like a slapped arse when he should be motivating & managing his players.

You think Liverpool and Spurs managers pick their own players? Its well documented that Liverpool run a transfer commitee and Levy controls transfers at Spurs.

It`s the normal situation, the manager has to choice the players. The board choice the manager and they should allow him to create a squad of his views, of course they give budger and limit with what he has to work. Of course you paid a lot of money to the scout, they also should have words for young players, but all of this should have work with the manager and get the best solution for the club. And what happen we sold Matic(probably 1 of Conte fav. players) to United, and on press they ask him why he sell it, and he answer, that is not his call, but it was the board who decide this. Exactly this all was broken between the board and Conte, and guess who`s fault is?

If thats the case then serious questions need to be asked to Klopp of why it took two years to sort his defense out.

It's been widely adknowledged the board didn't give him the best hand, but that doesn't excuse his sh*t tactics, average team selections and borderline lack of professionalism.

Argo i have no problem changing Conte as our manager. But i see enough of this club and changing managers year after year. It won`t change anything, unless we have clear project.

Let me explain you something:
When we appoint Jose, we have a lot of players, that could benefit greately from attacking mind football. And we also have great young player, that need to be integrated. Should i mention them, everyone know who i`m talking about.

We just needed to have clear project, and to appoint manager, who will create and build team arround this players. We should have long term project right there.

But what the board did? They brought Mourinho, who everyone know is defensive minded coach, and use already build players and everyone knows he doesn`t like to develop players, that are not fully ready.

And of course he have his style and his policy.
So what we did, we turn 180 degree. Sold Mata(our best player back then), f**** De Bruyne and Lukaku, lets mention and Thorgan Hazard and bash few others youngster.

And what exactly we won in the very first year - nothing. Great job, but it was not Mourinho failure, it was board failure, cause they choice him.
They don`t have long term project, that we are following. So far we are just trying to get top manager, and expect him to do miracles and to won us titles. When he can`t produce miracle anylong and mask the incompetent board, they sack him and try with the next one.

Whatever you look at this, this is a short term project. It`s work at times, but now we will be out of top 4 for the second time in 3 years time, and thats speask for itself.

So the problem was here before Conte, so i don`t see how it`s his fault.

All i want is clear project, even if it`s with limited budget and not bringing top players for 100m.

They should have a project/strategy, that we have to follow, find the right manager for the job and then let him work his job, and do everything to help him. At the end you choice that man to do the job. So you have to back him and let him build the team he want and the board should try to do the best to aid him. That`s how it`s should work.

Liverpool way to me it`s the best. Klopp for sure not have 100% power of the transfer, there is also scouts, and he need to work with them, but the players has to be agreed by him, wheter is his choice or scout choice.

Also the sacking year after year, has to stop, at the end no top manager will want to come here. And i`m pretty sure we won`t get big name for our next manager.

So you believe our sudden insistence on Serie A players and targetmen is a coincidence? Yes there's some board signings but the Serie A players and the targetmen have his prints all over them. 

No manager is perfect. No manager is close to perfect. And every single manager will have ups and down. And even the best managers will have bad seasons.

Jose, Pep, Klopp, Alegri, just name it, everyone have bad seasons.

And no matter what the manager name is, some people will always come here and moan about late subs, rotatiotn, this and that player not playing/playing too much and about formation. They always shows when the things aren`t good.

Zapacostta and Emerson was last minutes buys. You know why goes to them ?? Because most serie A players are not heavy overpriced, like spanish players for example. They was kinda cheap, that`s why the boards choice them, not because Conte wanted. It`s obvious.

Conte is gone in the summer, everyone knows that, the problem is if we continue the same way, we will be in big, big, very big trouble.

And btw i do think we should shop a bit from Germany. Very much talent there at normal price.

Just because Conte mentioned he liked Walker in one interview means he was number 1 transfer target, it's like asking every manager if they like Messi.

 

If the reports are accurate, Conte refused to commit to the club early in the summer, by not wanting to extend his contract term. I am not sure why the club would spend obscene amounts of money on players that may only fit the Conte style team, when he wouldn't commit to a longer term contract.

So now ive debunked the myth he doesn't have a say you are changing the goalposts?

Well hopefully the next manager actually believes in earning his money on the training ground, i don't expect them to win the league but we have a good enough squad for top 4 and certainly one good enough to win more than 3 games in 3 months (were we were at before this much needed 6 points this week).

Yeah Conte may have wanted Walker, by equal measure im sure Poch would have wanted to keep him or at the very least get an adequate replacement but he isn't acting like he's in the Kindagarten over it. 

So if they were going after Serie A players because they were cheap, why didn't they give Jose the same profile of player? The typical board signing down the years has been young players with potential for growth and or profit, almost all the Serie A players and especially the target men are the total athesis of theTHEIR type of player.

Using Liverpool's signing of VVD is hilarious, they sold their best player to fund it. If we sold Hazard and spent half the money on a CB from Southampton you'd be the first to moan about it.

One thing I am curious about is why it took Conte 100 PL games in charge of us to try starting with two strikers ... especially this season when his preferred formation has been found wanting.

Harry Kane alone has had 168 shots on goal this season for his 27 PL goals. Morata, Batshuayi, Giroud and Hazard all put together have had 169 (for 29 goals) ... we've just been too negative with the tactics all year, especially at home.

If that is the case do you have any sources or quotes stating this ?. Also if that is the case, how childish and unprofessional.

We lost to Watford,Bournmouth,WestHam,Palace, Bunrley. Drew twice against Arsenal once against Leicester, Everton, West Ham. That's 4 points out of possible 30. We won't be making it to top 4 if we drop points in such games.

 

 I feel Conte has done the same mistake which Mourinho and Raneiri did after winning the league. He hasn't evolved stuck to same tactics despite others finding a way to counter them. 

We have hardly looked impressive this year even the games which we won we looked underwhelming and Conte has to take some blame.

I ask a question, tell me which one of the transfer Marina made in the summer, now have higher price ??? Which one have 2x the price he was when we buy him ??? If we try to sell 90% of the players we buy in the summer, they will be at reduced price, most of them probably by half.

So tell me, how is that Conte fault?
