Once Again you people see sh*t from one f**king view and thats it.....and thats LOL, not my sh*t. Ohh yeah we spent a bit.....on CRAP......and on top of it all we sold more than we bought. So you go and check the other good Clubs and how much they spent and on whom.

the big issue i have with conte is why change things up now so close to the season end? he should have changed things up 10-15 games ago when it was noticeable the formation and tactics were nowhere near as effective. there was a period close to xmas/new years where we were struggling to get points, it's then that formation changes should have happened.

Would be good if he spend them, not Marina. All of the transfer she or the board made was complete sh***.

Not a single player, that we brough and we can sell him for higher price now. Not a single one. If we going to sell them, we would probably get the half we paid for them ....

Check Liverpool and City new players and how much more they would be if they decide to sell.

Also performance ....

I said it many times. Transfers is the problem.

Not long ago, there was 2-3 teams in the world that could beat us for players, now only in England there is 2-3 teams that beat us easy on players.

We battle for Hazard, we paid the most and give him the best salary and he choice us. Now we don`t do that, we are acting slow and let other beat us. Before that could not happen.

Let me give you few more example - Tottenham was about to announce Willy, but last moment call, higher salary and fee and we get him. Same happen with Salah, as Liverpool was mad.

Now United hijack Lukaku, City hijack 2 players from us, even Liverpool and Tottenham beat us on the market.

And this shows. With this transfer policy you won`t lure top players, forget about world class ones.

Before fast negotiate, if his club not want to sell, we overpay them a bit, give him better salary and he choice us.

Now acting slow, lose a lot of our target because of that, and Marina over negotiate and it`s night night.

So who`s fault is? :D

Oh come on, it's not that bad :laugh2: Perhaps you need to be a non-native speaker as well to understand - the English I mean, not the reasoning

But it's exhausting to read the long posts going over the same ground again and again. I've given up.

So, desperate change of topic...

Conte: track suit or dressy club suit?

Point taken. Wherever in the world we come from, for some weird reason we've. alll become Chelsea fans. Apologies for being over tough with our overseas correspondents- win or loose, up the blues.

"you people"  Haha

"spent a bit...... on crap"

Were you saying Morata & Bakayoko were crap when we signed them? I bet you weren't.

Shock, horror- we sold some players as we endeavour to break even and be a sustainable business model.

However much you huff and puff, nothing changes the fact that only Man City spent more than us.

It`s not only about how much you spend, but also how much you sold. And we sold more, then we buy.

City, Liverpool and United can`t say the same. Liverpool as a close to us with their transfer.

35m for Ox, 75m for VVD, 66m for Keita and 50 with the bonuses for Salah. Also 8m. for Robertson and 3 for Solanke.

That`s 237m, and they get only 140 for outgoings.

So basically you are upset that we aren't the club with the most money anymore.

mclovin83, nope but that`s show you why we have ups and down in few seasons.

We are risking on the transfermarket, but get high quality managers, that made us champion with lesser squad then the rivals.

We are gambling on the market. Not go for direct quality, but try to catch with lower money buisness. This season we failed completely.

Yeah you people....as in conte out people.......baka were decent for Monaco but still too Young and not really tested. Morata has always been a second striker.......im sure he will come good in time. All our rivals boosted themselves a great deal.....we did not. No matter how much you jump up and Down we tend to f**k all our managers off.......our Club is sick with huge issues but sure you go and blame the manager only.....cuz I guarantee without doubt we will revisit this come soon.........we are Chels, media hates us.....refs cant stand us....fa loves to stick one in......but above all we ourselves are our own enemy.

I felt he got it right today, he also showed more passion which was good to see,if I'm honest I would like to see him do another season, but to be backed more so he didn't have any excuses

Definitely showed the passion from last season, I feel like Conte absolutely needs something to aim for to be able to work, the cup and potentially getting top 4 after it looked like we were missing out is re-energising him.

That being said he is still stuck in his ways of sitting back after scoring one goal and the Bakayoko sub was insane, if he did this against a better team we might have been punished.

the problem is, if the club wants to move in a different direction, is it really a smart thing to keep him here and buy the players he wants rather than players for the inevitable new coach?

I am still pretty sure it is Conte that is deciding to leave. Rumour is he will be announced as italian coach the day after the fa cup final.

Strange that he would go back to international football, as the whole reason he left the Italian national squad was because he missed the day to day aspect of managing club football.

Doesn't mean he isn't fed up of club football now as he's realised how tough it is, mentally and physically.

Lining up in a 3-4-1-2, I give you a team totally made up of players that have joined our squad since Conte was appointed coach ... it looks like a pretty decent line up to me, so I don't buy all this dialogue about the board being sh*t at transfers and handing Conte a squad full of crap ...

Caballero

Rudiger, Luiz, Christensen

Zappacosta, Kante, Drinkwater/Bakayoko, Emerson/Alonso

Barkley

Morata, Giroud

I feel there has to be a time we stop this merry go round of managers and back one long term, maybe it should be conte, one bad season isnt the end of the world

It is when he spends the whole season slagging off the club from top to bottom.

For those who were there today, what was the support like for him? Sounded mixed when he took off Willian for Bakayoko but I could hear his name being sung at the end.

As I said yesterday it'll be very interesting what happens if we win the FA Cup. Be tough for the club to sack him and if we are investing in the right areas in the summer I have no doubt we would improve with him as the coach.

If we can't get Simeone or Allegri I'm not convinced the other candidates are better.

There isn`t better manager on the market then Conte at the moment. Simeone isn`t better. Allegri is kind on Conte level. But he is obedient and will be f**** by the board in single-two, just like it`s happen with everyone.

I like Conte so much, because he get out there and tell the truth and how the real situation is. Not to speak some b.c . and we are going to live in delusion.

We needed strong manager, cause our players are primates, they are so soft and think they can do whatever they want and f**** with the manager when they want.

Ferguson was hard and tough with everyone and that`s how you handle the dressroom.

Oh, OK.  Exact quotes of what the man said, but you have either a crystal ball or an online lie-detector,  so you know it's not true?  Yeah, Ok.

I'm not sure about Conte, if I'm honest, but I find it interesting that the majority of the posters in here seem to want him gone, whilst the majority of the actual match-going fans sing his name loud and proud, every match, regardless of whether we are winning or losing.

I've said many times before.  Support the team and the manager.   That is all.

The thing that really frustrated me about Conte... is that Emerson has only played the past two matches because of suspension for Alonso.

If Alonso never received a suspension would we ever see Emerson this season?! He looks like a class player and possibly better than Alonso, but didn’t stand a chance.

To be fair Alonso has been in red hot form and Emerson is still building his fitness, remember he played twice in a year before joining us.

I have liked his games so far but I don't think he has been game changing for us. I won't hold that against Conte.
