Yeah but they're doing basic things wrong as well, can't believe they've even been selected for the squad.

As for the rest of Europe who haven't been oppressed and exploited by the English like the Irish have, the vitriol is weird considering that other countries have done far worse things, and were it not for England, the Germans might have won the war.

But that's politics, this is a football tournament. I think even the Irish find the English team more likable than the boring fakers from Portugal.

By the way, the Iceland players said that the English players were exceedingly gracious after the game, and for that they deserve a lot of credit.

Portugal have been completely underwhelming and haven't shown passion or cohesion.

As we've seen over and over again in international tournaments, never underestimate the power of passion and effort.
