We underrate Conte yet again. If Conte gets the players he actually wants in the summer, who's to say we don't retain the title (assuming we win this season)? Nobody expected him to be challenging for the title this year anyway. Everyone thought it would be Pep and Jose. Granted we all expect Pep and Jose to be better next season but logically, you'd expect Conte's team to be even better. But I bet the narrative going into next season among fans and the media will once again be Pep vs Jose, sidelining Conte. In a way, I like that. Takes the pressure off him and lets him focus.

I have no doubt we are going to look even better next year under Conte. The squad he is working with at the moment isn't even shaped after his prefered formation and with hopefully a great summer window now that we should have money available from player-sales we might even make a run in the CL for me. A few players away from that right now for me but i still think Conte will take his squad to the title this season and then go for even greater things next season.

The refereeing team was crap. While a soft penalty, the push by Walker on Sterling was still a penalty. If referees/linesmen cant spot a spot penalties like this then they have no right to complain about players falling down at the slightest of touch a.k.a simulation. Also, what was Mariner thinking when he called for the play to stop? City was fouled,City had possession of the ball and City were on a break about to catch Tottenham off guard, it should clearly be an advantage played and the referee could have given the yellow card later on.

For a top coach I dont understand why Pep thinks he can get away with a sh*tty defense and a should be retired goal keeper. This is not the first game that City defense and the goaley has been poor.

Based in the fact I don't think they're far off in their squad and Jose has a habit of winning titles in second season. Honestly I know we're all Chelsea on here (bar a few of course) but I can have an opinion on someone else winning the damn league.

Worryingly i agree with your assessment, Mourinho's record in his 2nd year at clubs is terrifying, I think he has a 100 % record of winning the title at all clubs post Porto.

It indicates it's his opinion that they will win the league. Why are we even talking about this? We've gone totally off the point of my initial post. Not sure why he took it as an attack.

No comments on today's games. But I will share my feelings. I would suffer watching Liverpool winning the EPL a 100 times rather than see Tottenham win it once.

I think it's more to do with the lack of Liverpool's title challenge. Can't really get a reputation as a bottler when you've had what, 2 actual title challenges in the last 20 years
