If Conte stays here for at least another 5 years, what trophies would you like to win?

Aiming for a certain amount of cups is a dangerous game, look at Real in 2014, they gave up the league for the CL and their whole season rested on whether Simeone put men on the posts. What we should aim for first and foremost is consiestency, aim to be a team that challenges at the top of the table most if not every season, do that we will win the title sooner or later law of averages. Do that and cups will come when they come, any knockout tournament CL included should be secondary compared to the league.

Wow...Thats so mature.. Thank you very much!

Stick around and you'll get used to the banter

I muttered "ugh" btw

How about we focus on beating Spurs tomorrow instead? Too soon...

Don't worry so much about spurs. We have a fully fit squad, they 3-4 players injured. Rose is suspended. And they haven't won at stamford bridge for 26 years. And they just lost to Monaco. Lolzz....Monaco...

Definitely not worried! Everything looks good from our point of view, however it'd be silly to get ahead of ourselves. We're playing great football, let's enjoy the moment and the wins whilst they last!

I might have a bit of a strange attitude for a fan but for me the amount of silverware is not that important to me. It's brilliant winning all the cups for bragging rites but I'm quite happy if we're playing good football and are competing at the top level and winning the majority of our matches against Spuds, Arsenal, Man U and those Liverpool fools.

if we keep playing the way we are at the moment the silverware will follow. EPL is the main one for me, others are a bonus.

What a difference a year makes in football. This time last year there was a thread on here about the possiblity of us getting relegated!

Not sure about the trophies, but il be happy if we are challenging for title, putting up a decent showing in europe, and playing with the same and determination we played with in the 5 years between 2005-2010.

If that brings us some silverware along the way il be ecstatic.

This 1 is a bit silly.. all trophies regardless whoever the manager is, no brainer really..

What if there was a choice between

1) trusting the manager and based on the current outlook of the team going on to win trophies however this means potentially bringing on and playing Ivanovic now and again,
or
2) not trusting the manager and undermining his decisions as you don't agree with the fact he brought on Ivanovic in a game we managed to win. But never having to play Ivanovic again.

Admittedly I imagine you have little sway at the club so your opinion won't have any impact on the outlook of the squad but for arguments sake lets say you are someone like Emenalo or Steve Holland and would have the potential to influence the club. Which would you prefer then of course this is all hypothetical.

For me its an easy choice as in option 2 Conte is less likely to fully integrate his ethos and way of playing on the team, he will likely lose a bit of confidence and will never quite feel in complete control of his team which will eventually filter through to the players and we will end up missing out on winning trophies because of this but on the plus side Ivanovic won't play again, and we will probably have a new manager in a season or 2.

So you're suggesting to follow yet another cult of trusting the manager completely and deem all his decisions are correct regardless??  No complain, just quietly get behind him until things go south?

I give you 1 example, jose mourinho with last season as the benchmark..  Too much trust (blind one) that saw us throwing away the good work down the years in assembling a good crop of players (mata, kdb, lukaku, schurle, felipe etc).. Imagine if we still have those players now, nobody in the league would even come close matching our quality...

And just for the argument sake, I'm not quite a sheep that would let the sheperd take me wherever he wants to... I'll have to make him justify his decisions... Btw, steve holland has no power and instead of emenalo, let's just go for the man at the very top, roman abramovich and I think, apart from jose mourinho blunder, roman is just like me who actually prefer to ACT before it's completely too late..
