Chelsea Vs Hull City (PL) Sun 22/01 2017 KO 16:30 GMT

Wish Mason a speedy recovery.

It was a laboured game and it wasn't easy for us. It was tense throughout and Hull could have shipped one in.

At the end, we pulled through and we did need this win with a couple of tough games lined up for us.

On the way to the match yesterday, we arrived in London fairly early and my 8 year old said he wanted to 'explore' a bit, so I said we would get off at West Brompton instead of FB and have a leisurely stroll through the cemetery, something I used to enjoy doing pre match in my youth, always found it peaceful. Was a lovely crisp day too, just perfect for it.

Unknown to myself until yesterday, my son had found a way to make a noise with his tongue and palate that attracts squirrels, he learnt it on a nature trip apparently, couldn't believe my eyes, the little beggars were coming out from everywhere and running around my son whilst he was making this clicking noise.

Took us over an hour to get from one end of the cemetery to the other, loads of tourists and visitors suitably entertained too.

To top it off, we got a good win, albeit a horrendous injury to Ryan on the opposition, get well soon lad.

It was vital to win that game espeially with Liverpool and arsenal coming up but you also have to consider the Burnley away game, after arsenal, as a very difficult game.

Theyve the 4th best home record in the league, only us, Spurs and Arsenal have a better home record thna Burnley so they should not be taken lightly.

The win against Hull does push us towards what I've said will be a title winning total of at least 85 points, so we've 16 games to make up the other 30 points, I really cant see any of our rivals going on a winning streak of 10 games or more, not with the top 6 all playing each other over the next few weeks.

Plenty of points will be dropped between all of us but being 8 points clear and looking down is a brilliant place to be after 22 games.

Well, the victory was never been in doubt..  The victory will always be sweet but the performance is not that enjoyable.. MOst of our goals came from a counter or set pieces, I think with our quality, we can do more than that.. cesc fabregas is still our best player at picking up a pass that can send the attacker on a 1 on 1 situation, with players like costa and pedro making the run, it's really such a waste to not utilize cesc's specialty..

Great win against Hull, now to look to our next 2 games in the PL, i think we will win both, it will be interesting to see if Klopp and Wenger do what almost everyone else has done against us and play 3 at the back.

It would be nice to see a message from the club wishing Ryan Mason a speedy recovery. Anyone come across one?

It's been reported JT and Gaz went with Steve Holland and saw him and his family in hospital on Sunday. Nothing official from the club though I don't think.

We are such a 2nd half team it's ridiculous.

We're such a second half team that we score our first half goal in the 53rd minute.
