If Luis Enrique was staying at Barca I would try a cheeky bid for Alba. Whenever I see them play he has been dropped a few times this year. Change of manager will see him back as a first team regular though.

I would always go for youngsters first but I just think it halts there progress than they actually gain anything from playing 2mins at the end. I would rather see them go and play a full season somewhere as a first team regular. 

Would the manager trust them if the main striker is out suspended or injured for a long period, this season tells me no.

He did trust Ake over JT, a couple of times. Point is IF the youth player is worth it (like Tammy) then why not give him a chance over a has been, even if it hurts us a bit in the short term. I mean if we had not bought etoo and had trusted Lukaku, things would have been so different.

I would rather Tammy plays a full season in the prem of championship at his age than 20 seconds and no kick of the ball. It all depends if Conte even rates him, if he don't then it's a season like Batman.

The issue with Lukaku was more to do with Mourinho than the club, same with KDB and a number of other players like Bertrand. It don't take alot for Mourinho to take a dislike to you then your most likely be out the club. Just like Shaw this year, how he has treated Shaw is embarrasing.

Absolutely!!! Totally agree that a manager MUST rate the kid highly and see a future for him. My only point is that, giving the youth should be 1st priority.

lukaku/belotti - morata/sanchez

with our usual 3 at the back, wingbacks (maybe even upgraded) and centre mids would imo win the league next year barring injuries.

that much attacking power will make mincemeat of teams from 6-20, and with contes organization we will stay secure enough at the back against the top teams.

one of the few problems with our attack this year is a) that no one gets on the end of crosses from our wing backs and b) that we still have hazard dependency, and teams are willing to sacrifice one of their players to stifle him. getting two cf's who can attack the box (hopefully better than costa) will be devastating.

if conte got two good strikers he trust, as well as keeping key wide players, we can seamlessly transition from 3-4-1-2/3-4-2-1, 3-5-2 4-2-4 and 4-3-3. the tactical possibilities are pretty much endless and opponents wouldn't know what to do with us (once again).

How is Sanchez easily obtainable? With Bayern also in for him, Arsenal will be even more determined to not sell to us. If we get him, it will be because he personally forced the move. Not an easy signing at all.

Publicly said and common knowledge that he wants to stay in London. We can offer as much if not more than Bayern, especially in wages. Arsenal are known to be a selling club to direct rivals when their contracts get low or player wants a move i.e Cole, Van Persie, Clichy, Sagna, Nasri etc.. Player has one year left on his contract.

If we really want him, we can get him.  

Wenger has said several times he regretted selling RvP to United and that he wont make that mistake again. I would be very surprised if he sells him to us. Lock to go abroad imo

I think it really depends on who leaves, particularly Costa. I'd love to keep him but I wouldn't begrudge him a move to China on that money.

If he does leave I think we need to look at a Premier League based striker. Sanchez and Aguero I think could well be achievable. I don't think Lukaku is up to it personally. He scores but the rest of his game is poor.

Other area to strengthen is wing back. We could go for Sidibe who can play on both flanks but my preference would be Lichtsteiner from Juve. Brings experience and could play in the matches where we need more defensive capability.

Beyond that I'm happy to use the young players. Zouma, Christensen, Ake, Chalobah are all capable and I'd prefer to develop them rather than buy expensive depth.
