To be honest it was not worth the watch apart from the goal. oh and Antonio showing Jose who the boss is now.

So basically, I will have a couple of goons play for my team, run after the opponents best player, try to injure him with the worst tackles and then sub them off. Makes perfect sense!!! Are all united fans this dumb? Fifa are gagging to bring in sin bins which is a complete joke. It's like they change things just for the sake of it. Next they will let you have specialised players so Stoke can bring back Delap and everytime they get a throw he can come on for 20 seconds.

Did Smalling call everyone over for a team bonding session just to let everyone know? Of course he didn't. Only Smalling and Jones knew even if it is true. You think Herrera would of stuck a leg out if he knew? That is BS refereeing if it's true and if thats what Oliver said it's pointless as for it to be take the right effect you would need to let every Utd player know or give Smalling 2mins to run round and tell everyone. Inconsistent refereeing and there was much worse fouls in the second half which went unpunished. Cant blame anyone but herrera. He was on a yellow and commited a stupid foul on Hazard. 2 yellows make a red... Its not the refs job to educate those hatchetmen. it is not a coincidence we havent had a red in the league. Its bcoz our coach doesnt tell players to kick others

March 14, 20179 yr The irony! Oh Jose......... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jan/01/jose-mourinho-referee-phil-dowd-eden-hazard-chelsea-tottenham “If people are in love with football in this country then they must be in love with Eden Hazard. But the way, match to match, he’s being punished by opponents and not protected by referees … maybe one day we won’t have Eden Hazard. It’s one, two, three, four, five, 10 aggressive fouls against him. They kick and kick and kick, and the kid resists. He’s a very honest guy in the way he plays but that’s another problem.” Edited March 14, 20179 yr by Beerqueen

March 14, 20179 yr Remember the Clattenburg game, when we were wrongly down to 9 men,Torres got a second yellow for diving, but it was later quite evident that Johnny "Kung Fu" Evans, had caught him. Then little Pea brain scored an blatantly offside goal to win. Funnily enough the Manure faithful were not to bothered about the injustice of that, and nor should they have been, that's football after all. They even had a silly banner made praising up Clattenburg.

I never thought man u fans were as bad a Liverpool Apart from Costa who was at his worst admittedly, we were absolute angels! Fouls given are 14 against them, 7 to us. I must admit I thought there were probably more than that on Hazard alone in the first 20 minutes!

March 14, 20179 yr Interesting from WAGNH: The guideline comes from the US Soccer Federation’s “Advice to Referees”, which is an official publication to help interpret FIFA’s rules. While these obviously aren’t FA or PGMOL publications, the laws of the game and the guidelines for applying the laws of the game should be universal. (That’s part of the mandate of FIFA) " The referee must also recognize when a single opponent has become the target of fouls by multiple players. As above, upon recognizing the pattern, the referee should clearly indicate that the pattern has been observed and that further fouls against this opponent must cease. If another player commits a foul against the targeted opponent, that player must be cautioned but, in this case, the misconduct should be reported as unsporting behavior, as must any subsequent caution of any further foul against that same targeted opponent. Eventually, the team will get the message. "

It was pretty obvious that their aim was to use rotational fouling on hazard by using different players and he nipped in the bud real quick.

That's right - we were debating last night whether it was actually in the rules that a ref could take it into account and all agreed it should be - we've all seen these games (often involving Haz) where players just spread the fouling out amongst themselves to protect the team from reds. It didn't work this time and good on Michael Oliver for getting that right anyway even if he missed about 5 other possible yellows.

March 14, 20179 yr But Europa is different - he wouldn't be banned for that would he, like Ibrahimovitch wasn't.
