March 7, 20215 yr With the ever increasing costs of TV subscription services, (SKY & BT in particular) thought I would create an IPTV thread. I have been using KEMO iptv for the last six months and have been reasonably impressed with it. 25.00 USD for six months with one connection, 39.00 USD with two. Stable platform and good customer service when I have needed it. I know other Shedites use similar services to get their TV fix, I'd be interested in any other tried and tested Iptv provider recommendations.

You mentioned IPTV in an earlier post Just and I was just researching it. I give up my sky subscription recently when I moved house and usually just stream which can be hit and miss. Would be very interested in peoples recommendations.
March 7, 20215 yr I've had a few IPTV services over the years, and while a few have seemed great at first, they've all gone to sh*t in the end. I just use a proxy now to watch iPlayer and all4 stuff from outside the UK, and for football it's easy enough to find streams.

I have had some good ones like Vaders, Beast TV, that were shut down. But every time one is shut down more seem to spring up to take their place. Like KEMO iptv. And most will offer you a trail for a few days to see how the service works. I always go for the shortest subscription each time, usually offered at 3 or 6 months, so if they do shut down I haven't lost much, and if the service is good I just extend it. Our house hold was paying for SKY, BT Sport, Netflix and Amazon. It was costing me a bloody fortune!! I'd also be interested to hear from anyone who has a Real Debrid account on how well that works?

I've had both Vaders and Beast at some point, but these services never seem to last very long once they become popular. The last one I had was decent and more 'under the radar' but went downhill when there were those massive police raids a while back, which shut down most of the servers that these IPTV resellers were using. I haven't bothered with IPTV since then. I did like having all the live sports channels but the free streaming sites work well enough for the football, at least most of the time. I've actually been using Real Debrid (with Kodi installed on a bunch of Firesticks) for several years and find it works great for the vast majority of TV series and films. If you also have a trakt.tv account, which allows you to track what episodes you've seen and create watchlists, etc., then I'd recommend getting the waco app. This provides a nicer, Netfilx-esque interface to browse stuff from your trakt.tv account on your phone/tablet, and then stream it to Kodi (via Real Debrid).

I've always been a bit paranoid about giving payment details to 'companies' like that. Wouldn't everyone's details be kept stored.

March 10, 20215 yr Thank you just. I don't know about the one you use, but when we ran IPTV via an app on the TV, it just kept going black screened where it was buffering. Is that one you mention reliable with buffering? My internet connection is good enough.

I streamed when the games temporarily went behind yet another paywall earlier in the season but it was so unreliable and hard to find a decent one that lasted it put me off big time.
March 10, 20215 yr I'm a moderator on a very good IPTV provider if people need the link for Telegram only, no website or Faceache. £55 for the year.
March 11, 20215 yr Iam thinking about going down this Road tbh ,still got just under a year on my sky tv / bt sports rip off . here is a tip Get a server thats baised in Russia as nobody in Europe Police or government can tell the Russian server to close down . think it was about 2 years ago when powers that be closed down many servers across Europe and Something in Italy started that ball to roll. i go i to a pub who use the Russian server and it has all the sky sports and bt sports + no end of channels sending prem football . We are pretty rural where we live and use one of the Three 4G home hubs. http://www.three.co.uk Then send the signal round the house on a Deco mesh system. We usually get a steady 17 - 25mbs. Not enough for a 4K picture but plenty good enough for HD with no buffering. Edited March 12, 20215 yr by just

That lot must be costing you an arm and a leg each month Munkie! What really pisses me off is how quick SKY and BT are to rip off their customers. As soon as Three brought our their 4G home broadband package we sacked BT off completely and it is the best decision we ever made. No home phone and line charges, unlimited data with no throttling and much faster speeds than BT were giving us - just £22/month. As for SKY we have been with them for well over 20 years, even as far back as when they were BSkyB. Our last package for one Q-box, SKY Sports, Entertainment pack, SKY Cinema & HD was £60/month on a "deal". When the deal expired they started charging us £81/mth! No follow-on offer or any contact to discuss our best options. And we are supposed to be Diamond VIP members due to our loyalty! As it happens me and the missus are looking to make this a life changing year. If everything goes to plan the both of us should be making the switch to semi-retirement. Part of this involves selling the house, (which we are in the process of doing), and down-sizing and then spending half the year over here and half the year in Spain. So I phoned SKY and told them I wanted to cancel my subscription with them. That in itself took some doing but finally the bloke I got through to who can accept the cancellations immediately offered me a new deal at £56/mth. I turned that down as I don't want to be tied into an 18 month contract that still wouldn't allow me to watch SKY on my TV in Spain. Since then I have had two further "offers" the last one being everything we had previously at £39/mth. If SKY really did value my loyalty, why not offer that to me as soon as my current "deal" ended? It winds me up big time being treated like that, so f*ck em. Personally I gave up trying to hunt down individual streams for things we want to watch years ago. That's when we started using ITPV providers. I have found the IPTV services out there are like everything else in life, there's some good ones and some bad ones. Most of the ones I have used have been pretty good and didn't cost a lot to subscribe to. Another benefit is I don't have to listen to all the scouse and manc matchday pundits who seem to have the monopoly on SKY and BT. I have also just set up my own Real Debrid account as suggested by @bluedave in his post above and have been impressed with it so far for TV shows and films, but I haven't watched any streamed football on it yet. Cost me £14 for six months! Edited March 13, 20215 yr by just

AppleTV is free for most of this year and has some great content on it. It’s not just Sky/BT that are c**ts, most companies treat loyal customers as cash cows. This is my last Vodafone contract after being charged three times in one month for a service that’s included in my contract, being promised a refund that has never materialised and still trying to get my mobile broadband actually cancelled after three months of trying! My car insurance the last two years I’ve ended up taking out new policies with the company I was already with because I got better offers going through comparison sites than my actual renewal. I thought they were legally obliged to offer me the best deal possible as part of my renewal nowadays? It’s all just ridiculous, tedious admin I can’t be arsed with.
March 13, 20215 yr I've been using an IPTV provider for just over 3 years now which came via a recommendation from someone on this site. Had a couple of periods where the service drops out for whatever reason but they always send updates on why and what they're doing and I'd say 90% of the time it works well enough. The long term subscription model is dying a slow death and they really need to look at more tailored ways of letting fans watch the games they want to.
March 16, 20215 yr Author For those running an IPTV service or Kodi through an android TV box I can highly recommend this bit of kit. https://troypoint.com/z8-formuler-android-tv-box-built-for-iptv/ They're not cheap but having had many android boxes over the years they are the mutt's nuts. They have developed their own MY TV Online 2 app to run your IPTV service through and it is awesome. Regular OTA updates and a quality remote control too. You can get the latest Z8pro box on Amazon for £125 including the remote control. Edited March 16, 20215 yr by just

Had a good look at that link and i have to Ask is it far more cheaper getting a firestick from Amazon and using the firestick ?
March 16, 20215 yr Author I've actually changed the web link Donny to show an independent review on the box which discusses a lot of its features and shows screenshots. I thought this would be more helpful. Yep, a firestick is a cheaper option but it has nowhere near the capabilities of this bit of kit. Edited March 16, 20215 yr by just

March 17, 20224 yr I’m looking for a provider and wondered if you are still with the same lot @just as I saw them mentioned online yesterday. This is obviously to watch free news channels around the world, wouldn’t want to condone any wrongdoing.
