Not Rangers

Didn't know where else to post it.

Oct 1970. City went through on away goals rule " peculiar to European football "

Corrigan ( city keeper) was struck on the ankle by a bottle .

More bottles rained in on the City goal area and Billy Bingham went behind the goal to talk to the crowd .

Sounds eventful!

Wonder if there's any footage?

Apologies for posting it here , I know Linfield are of interest to some on here , looked for somewhere more appropriate, but couldn't really find anywhere

A couple of tributes to the great man. Love the bit in the second video when Ally gives Davie a present. I've mentioned before that one of my aunts used to work in John Menzies newsagent in Hamilton and Davie would often pop into for papers and a chat. One of the papers was no doubt the Racing Post. He loved a flutter on the horses.

In memory of Ray, I have to post this video. One of his greatest goals and one of the finest ever seen at Ibrox. Nearly 35 years ago. Where have the years gone.

Remember this goal like it was yesterday!

I was in the lower section Copland Road Stand and almost in line with the great man. So had a fantastic view when he struck the shot !!

That disallowed goal is an absolute joke, this ref is a piss take.

I missed the game. Also missed the Chelsea match. Crap weekend for football. I've read about the disallowed goal. An absolute joke. Rangers have written to the SFA. Hopefully will get a response but can't see it. Sadly the league title will go to Celtic. Here's to the Scottish Cup semi-final on 30 April.

Bit off subject but Ally McCoist's 11 made up of those he played with at Rangers. Has included himself and can't argue with that. Some great players. I would have Ian Ferguson in the 11 but then who is left out.

FFS. :face_palm:

Missed the game but from I've read a soft goal they gave away. Why can't players play to the whistle and Sakala missed a sitter. Looks like there will be lots of changes in the summer. Been an awful season for Chelsea and Rangers.

One of my cousins was at the game and it's his birthday today. That's his birthday ruined.
