not a good week

shame we couldn't have held on to the likes of Calvin Bassey

Yes, after Saturday's result and now this. Agree about Bassey, a class player. Agree about trying to get third place and it being a tough assignment. A tough group. Here's to bouncing back against Napoli.

All the very best to Rangers at Anfield tonight!

One of my cousins is going to the game. Will be tough for Rangers but I'll be happy if they get a draw. One thing: it will be one of those rare matches at Anfield where there is a great atmosphere but that will be because of the Rangers fans.

Alan McGregor had an outstanding game last night! Some of those saves…

A great goalie. As you say, some of those saves. Disappointing result last night. Here's to a better result at Ibrox next week. Ibrox will be rocking.

I hope Rangers both players and coaches alike learn from these Champions League Group games.

It is a big step up from the Europa League.

Sometimes it seemed like Rangers were being picked off at will by Liverpool.

Despite that I thought there were some other decent Rangers player performances apart from just Alan McGregor.

Disappointed to pick up pro-IRA chanting from sections of the Liverpool support. Social media was full of it this morning.

Towards the end of the match the Rangers fans sang - as the always do at the end of games - sang the National Anthem - and it was booed by the Liverpool supporters. No criticism of the Scousers from the BT sport commentators. Will be interesting to hear if the Scousers do the same at Ibrox next week.

This CL group was always going to be difficult for Rangers. Some of the Scottish media over reaction has been pathetic!

Very true. The Bin Dippers at home and Napoli away will be tough. Won't make the knockout stage but hopefully will make the Europa League. Some good young players coming through and hopefully will have learnt from the CL matches.

Received the latest Rangers Supporters Erskine Appeal (RSEA) badge this morning. A cracking badge to add to the collection. Have every badge issued since 2009. Only missing those issued in 2007 and 2008. Those are like gold dust.

No photo description available.
