We could put the cat amongst the pigeons and only make it so Zeta can only see peoples prediction posts in these threads - I wonder how different the table would look then at the end of the season 

More importantly, we can’t be sure Zeta wants to do it again this season, he is an honest man now and might not have the time.

I was considering using my immeasurable talents as a software developer, to write a application you just submit your predictions to, which automates everything.

But I suppose a large part of the fun people get from it, is seeing other peoples predictions, and commenting on them, and giving me lots of work to do.
