I still don’t know what the f**k happened last night. My brain does not compute.

The magic of Cole Palmer. Hopefully he'll be with us for many years to come.

If we can tighten up at the back we'll be a decent team.

Just so happy with the win.

Hi Ersk. I had to listen to it on the radio, and they said more than once that loads of Chelsea fans were leaving and there were lots of empty seats around the stadium.

But I watched it today and it looked like the stadium was full until the end. ? Was that the case ?

Aye us winning a game is so unusual.

Just pretend it was our women's team and your brain will be back to "normal".

Missed the game live as had a  doctors visit could not miss.

At 5pm PST armed w a glass of cider I turned on the game, happy days 2 up in 20 minutes, then the clown show kicked in. Clown # 1 this week, Caciedo  provides their first assist. What a midfield we don't have ! Then inevitably the team fell to bits. 2-2, 2-3 it was end to end shambles by both teams. How either manager can claim they were on top like Ten 2 bob Hag did is laughable. Then Cold steps up in a crazy last 2 or 3 minutes of a 9 min ET period and saves the day. CFC fans stopped leaving early and cue mayhem inside the Bridge and the mental party atmosphere !!

Post match Poch claiming he needs more from the fans and he hopes this victory builds s trust and a better relationship between the players and fans - twaddle, the man is a FRAUD. The look on his boat when united seemed set to win 3-2 said it all. He got lucky, there was only 1 Chelsea man ON IT last night - that was Cole Palmer.  I hope Clearfake resist the urge to cash in on him anytime soon and the so called DOF recognize the team needs to be built around him.

What an amazing game for both good and bad reasons.

No better way to win and hoping against hope it build some confidence as there were 4 or 5 players with none tonight.

Pretty depressing to read some of the comments on this thread though. Some are getting close to being pissed off that we won. I get the Poch hate as he’s hardly been a success so far but we have to give the manager time. If not him then the next guy. Arteta really struggled at Arsenal in his first season. Similar comments by some of their fans at the time.

Having said that, some of the defending by us tonight was atrocious. None of the back 5 played well tonight. Gusto is class but the space he left Garnacho in for most of the second half was criminal. That’s down to the manager.

Enzo made mistakes but he always looks to pass forward. He’s 100% worth persevering with though as is Caicedo. I’m totally over their price tags and the question now is “are they good enough to play for Chelsea?” I think the answer is yes for both of them. They will both get better imo.

My mind is made up on Gallagher. Good player and love his energy but he’s not productive enough overall this season and his first touch isn’t the best. Take the money.

Subs did well so a tiny bit of kudos to the manager for that.

Might have to look out some oxygen in the next few weeks as we soar to the heady heights of 7th. Think I said at the start of the season we’d be between 6th or 8th and that would be acceptable. Most posters were of a similar mind. Mind you I thought we’d be a much better team than we are at the moment.

Id much prefer to be consistently good or consistently crap tbh.
Consistently being both in almost every game is a nightmare.

For most of my life, Chelsea were never consistently good or bad... used to have a good FA cup run now and then 😁

Not until Abramovich took over and the Special One arrived... the rest is history.

Always good to beat Arse, Spuds, the Dippers and Manure ! This one is unbelievable: 100th minute winning goal lol - who isn't still laughing?

However, I expect we'll have to find another "special one" to finish the jigsaw puzzle, one who can build a team that'll work together as a complete unit, bit like Arse, Citeh and the Dippers do currently, before we get back to "consistently good" and reach the dizzy heights we reached under Jose.

To be honest I too listened (very nervously) to it on the radio. From the photos and match footage it looked full.

Someone who was at the game would be far better placed to give you an answer.
