Newcastle chairman set to attend Liverpool clash

Latest from Sky Sports News' Keith Downie:Newcastle United chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan is set to attend St James’ Park tonight to watch Newcastle vs Liverpool. The PIF governor last attended a home match in February against Nottingham Forest. Al-Rumayyan was at Wembley back in March when Newcastle beat Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.

Im sure he will be rooting for them too. Doubt he will be amused by the bin dippers destabilisation of his striker and derisory offer of 120 million. He can probably wipe his arse with 120 million. I sincerely hope he wont be mugged off and bought by Liverpool, these wealthy businessmen have a history of doing things for the principle rather that just money. He could let Isak rot in the reserves without affecting his own quality of life if he chooses. Go on Yasir lad stick it up em !

Watching the Newcastle v Liverpool game now but every time the rancid scouse c**t opens his gob and bleats his whiney fking voice across the screen I am muting out of sheer principle.

My hatred for Liverpool reaches a completely new level with the scouse c**t in the studio

What I would say though is this atmosphere is something we could only ever dream of. Still who wants entertainment, energy and excitement when we've controlled possession.

Notice how Newcastle just get to ball forward no tippy tappy crap just good old fashion direct football

I maintain our squad under Eddie Howe wins the league.

People were banging on last season about Newcastle having a better XI than us and despite not having any Europe to contend with Howe bottled Top 4 on the final day.

Newcastle are too emotional that will be their undoing.

How good would we be if we showed the same intensity and pace as Newcastle????

Well If we have that you can’t play it across the back 100 times between the defenders!!

Just the energy of the running, on and off the ball. I crave for the times when we make substitutions cos our players have run their bo**ocks out. That's what i want from strength in depth

This.

They are really exciting to watch and yet have so little quality in comparison. If they are that enthusiastic and hyped about Harvey Barnes running at the opposition could you imagine what the atmosphere would be like if we had the stadium and crowd to match, with the likes of Estevao, Palmer, Neto etc out there.

It’s a big occasion and even more so after the Isak debacle. They are rightfully up for it.

Let’s not pretend though we didn’t take the game to Liverpool twice last season.
